People didn’t know who the composer or the lyricist was, or in some cases, even which film or album these songs were from. But this didn’t stop these records from taking the world by storm.

Jai Ho - “Jai Ho” is a song composed by A.R Rahman for the 2008 film, Slumdog Millionaire. This song won Academy Award for Best Original Song. A.R Rahman was the first Indian composer to strike gold at the annual Hollywood awards.
Kaala chashma - Baar Baar Dekho’s Kala Chashma, originally a Punjabi track from the ’90s, was written by a Punjab police head constable & he earned Rs 11000 for it. The song was performed at a show in England, where it grew immensely popular.
Swag se swagat - Tiger Zinda Hai‘s ‘Swag Se Swagat’ became one of the most viewed songs on KZfaq. It is first Indian Song to hit 500 Million Views. ‘Swag Se Swagat’ was Sung by Vishal Dadlani and Neha Bhasin, and featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif swaying to its beats. It was later dubbed in Arabic and got massive response.
Chaiyya Chaiyya - The song was in the movie named Dil Se. It was released in 1998 and this song was voted by 155 countries in the world where it has taken the 9th position. This song was not only used to be played in the parties and ceremonies but this song was in everywhere like children’s toys, devices and most of the people were enjoying it.
Awara Hoon - Raj Kapoor , also known as “the greatest showman of Hindi cinema” was famous actor in 1950’s. His film Awaara - dubbed in Russian and released as Brodiaga - left the Russians besotted. The first Hindi film to be successful in the country. Awaara’s title song became a huge rage, even being played at official banquets.
Mundian To Bach Ke - In 2002, Panjabi MC jammed cross-cultural airwaves with their song “­Mundian To Bach Ke“ that went on to become a breakout international smash hit the top 20 in at least 15 countries.

Jimikki Kammal - Jimikki Kammal, a peppy song from Malayalam movie ‘Velipadinte Pusthakam‘, became an Internet sensation. It found a fan in American chat show host, Jimmy Kimmel.
Nashe Si Chad Gayi - It is one of the most viewed songs on KZfaq and at the same time, one of the latest songs which was released in 2016 and the only song which got more than 400 million views. The song is being liked by foreign countries and it is mostly used in ceremonies and parties. It is from movie named Befikre.
Urvashi Urvashi - This song from movie Hum Se Hei Muqabala, was composed originally in the Tamil language for film Kadhalan. When it was sung in Hindi, it made records not only in India but also in UK and Australia too.
Jimmy Jimmy Aaja Aaja - The movie, Disco Dancer’s song which has taken an international fame is Jimmy Jimmy Disco Dancer. It was released in 1982. When the song released it was having a tremendous hit in India, China, Russia, Soviet Union, and Turkey.
I Am A Disco Dancer - Released in 1982, the movie ‘Disco Dancer’ rocked the popularity charts at home and across the Soviet Union. Throughout the 80s, the dance halls at Russian summer resorts resounded with the beats of ‘I Am a Disco Dancer’, instantly transforming Mithun into one of the most loved next-gen Indian actors in the country.
