Ironically, the Magician did Curien a favor when he killed him because he would later become an even stronger Monster than him.

mahnnn idk I feel the original magician had more character the stance, the smooth spin while launching the fire balls and the movements the go was instantaneous this feels a bit like the bat boss

Love the upgrade in visuals, but why change the theme music? =( The original's theme is one of the best boss themes ever created.

The original composer wouldn't let Sega use it or remake it so they had to do this. You can feel the frustration of that in this version

Man they did my man dirty in the remake, he's so much slower in attacks and movements. I feel like magician in 4 Special is the last "good" magician but the og one is still the best along with the one from 2

How did they manage to make Curian sound worse than the original? One would think giving House of the Dead actually competent voice work would be easier than making it sound worse.

Everything about this remake is trash and this 'boss fight' best exacerbates all negative aspects of it. It's amazing just how much they managed to fuck up on so many departments.
