I can see the sleight of hand movements, but it's so well executed that I can't see the actual swaps, nicely done. Also quite unique concept, don't think i've ever seen dice and cards.

Very good routine. It looks so easy to guess how it works, and so easy to do it yourself.... Till you are starting to think about the details. A few moments later you see, that it just looks so easy, because Reuben is extremely good... Just like watching an artist drawing a wonderful picture makes you think, that it is easy... till you try to draw yourself. Wonderful routine, thanks a lot!

Even before Penn said it I thought to myself that I hadn't seen anything like this. I thought I caught a couple of moves but, did it really matter? It wasn't just the technical ability that was selling this trick but the childlike joy of the magician that instilled wonder in the audience. I think this is the most primal quality of magic, it takes us back to being children and makes the world amazing again.

it is about just as amazing how your phone could stay "levitated" with a kick stand...image if there was a kickstand on the cards that folds in...like when he tried to blow over the cards and failed because the kick stand did not fold in...so he had to blow again...the rest is him just moving the dice behind the cards...the 4 dice in the card box was a switch when he put the card box away...and just took another one...it was average professional magic...

Man the posing after the moves is hilarious, audience immediately got into it, dude is seriously talented. Also I love how Jonathon Ross came over trying to poke fun at you (even if lighthearted, dude, not really appropriate timing) and you immediately spun into, “yeah this is how I am, I make fun of myself at times, but I’m pretty great and I want us all to have fun when I perform,” and… there’s really no decent way to make fun of someone after they say something to that effect lol. Nicely handled. (The dice and the host!!)

Really good routine, loved your version of it. A few flashes here and there, mostly dude to nerves I'm assuming :P Well done! The one thing I couldn't figure out is how the cards were held up some of the times. Mind goes straight to gimicked mat, but I hope there's something more :D
@SF-xv6qr2 жыл бұрын
probaly the cards have an extra piece from other cards that he can flip up so they sit like that, also you can see he switches the deck when he closes the box, that one already had another matching set of dice in it
@grayskindablue2 жыл бұрын
I was assuming magnets (I also just really like tricks with magnets, lol) but you’re likely right, that makes sense. Or the cards, since he did have 4 specific ones. Would’ve been even more impressive if he got 4 “random cards” from a deck/had P&T or audience members pick a few cards early on.
@alccad2 жыл бұрын
This trick looks so silly to me… definitely not a P&T grade. Cards have foldable wings on their back bending on blow and their box is replaced at the beginning when closing the toys box. The dice are always in place or moved behind the cards (this is also visibile slowing the speed) and the full deck is clearly picked under the table.
@DOMO7N3 жыл бұрын
Lovely trick.. only move i saw was how he got the dice out of the card box at the end and the cards he laid out

The music selection is one of the best I have ever heard for a routine. Like a semi serious melody to a toy trick with seeming levitation and the smile, I just started watching magic, and if this doesn't get someone excited, nothing will

Great routine but unfortunately the 2 blows at the end with the 4 cards gives away the method. Perhaps a better method could be used in which 4 foot-controlled (or knee controlled) pins under the table that poke up through the mat to elevate the cards. Such a method would be fast, undetectable and allow the use of non-gimmicked cards and so they could be inspected afterward. Great routine though!
