The Node has been one of main daily throws. I think it checks off a lot of things in my playing style, is affordable and it honestly looks awesome with this color way.

Great Review man and you deserve more subs!Oh btw is it better than the Hertz and also what sleep time of the two yoyos
@YAPYOYO
@YAPYOYO 2 жыл бұрын
Oooo....that's a really tough choice here. It really depends on your play style because both are great choices. I personally prefer more rim focused weight distribution yoyos, so I prefer to use the Node for that, but the Hertz is great for faster playing and is really bouncy. As for sleep times, the Node definitely sleeps longer in my opinion because of the weight distribution.

The Node is a good throw for the price, although a little heavy. Plays better than the N12 imo, but there's not much between them. Good for beginners - for more experienced players who might want a faster playing yoyo the Y03 Hertz is probably a better choice.
@YAPYOYO
@YAPYOYO 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I totally agree. Although I have a handful of throws I usually bounce around. Like I use my N12 to learn and try to understand the concept of a trick or long speed combos, then I'll use the Node to see how I can understand the flow and motion to hopefully find more efficient movements, and then I'll finalize them with the Hertz to polish things up. :)

@@YAPYOYO Nice process! I do something similar - chunky bimetal to learn a trick because they spin forever, then something lighter to push up the speed. As a final step I turn to my Aoda Littles - if I can do a trick reliably on that tiny thing I feel I've mastered it 😁

@@YAPYOYO Btw if you're looking for another MagicYoyo to review I highly recommend the V4. It's a collab with Ametoys and can usually be found on eBay or AliExpress for < $15. About the same weight as the Hertz but has a more 'casual' feel in play.
@YAPYOYO

I actually have a V4. I bought it in December. I haven't made a video to review it yet because I'm worried with the amount of Magicyoyo reviews I'll be making especially when there are a lot of channels that cover it too, but I'll eventually get to it. I just finished one for the Carpfin (ironically a MYY, but I honestly really like their throws). But I'll be recording a Zeekio Bimetal, and a YYF (not a shutter) videos soon.

I love the node more then the rest except katana that's the best throw of magic yoyo the node is second purple line is good too
@YAPYOYO
@YAPYOYO 3 жыл бұрын
Oh man! You know with all the MYY, I have...I really am surprised why the node doesn't get as much attention. At least with my playing style, the node is hard to put down. I also love the purple line, it's on the organic side but it's one of the most versatile throws I enjoy using!

Thanks for the video! Is the hertz gap larger than the node?
@lebowski_dude
@lebowski_dude 3 жыл бұрын
Node string gap is bigger - 5mm vs 4.5mm in the Hertz. Biggest difference is the weight - Node is nearly 68g, Hertz is just under 64g.
@YAPYOYO
@YAPYOYO 3 жыл бұрын
@lebowski is absolutely right. The Node does have a slightly wider string gap. I'll start to incorporate that information for future videos. :)

what's the rim/center weight distribution for this one?
@YAPYOYO
@YAPYOYO 3 жыл бұрын
For the Node, I would say it's along the lines of 40C/60R. It's very rim weighted but still quite stable and quite easy to control. If you're familiar with other Magic YoYos, the Node is imo a more controllable throw.

is it better than the y03 hertz or is the hertz better
@YAPYOYO
@YAPYOYO 2 жыл бұрын
That is very hard to compare. I personally prefer the Node than the Hertz because of the rim weight distribution, but the Hertz is better for speed combos. So it would depend on what kind of yoyo player you are. if you want to expand your trick library and get into more complex tech tricks, the Node is my pick. If you want to strengthen your foundation of intermediate string tricks, polish your tech tricks, improve on your speed and work on horizontals, the Hertz is my pick.

@YAPYOYO
@YAPYOYO Жыл бұрын
@@jaishil ok, I'll try to see if I can make a video on how to put on string and get started to yoyo. Usually a bind that didn't get all the way may not have enough spin time or power to bring it up.
