@@phillxor There are better ways. I have a 30 gallon food grade drum tapped with a spigot. Connect PVC to it and run a line attached to the coop with gravity feeder cups. Even in Florida with this insane heat, I only have to give them water once a month. Food, a 55 gallon food drum I put the chicken feeder ports into the drum a few inches from the bottom and set that on conc blocks. They can only stick their head in, so it keeps them from throwing it everywhere. And of course you can dump in a couple bags at a time and not have to worry about it. Damn near maintenance free chickens aside from getting the eggs.

@@BenCase88 That's one of the best choices available right now. Also makes a great skinning knife. It's more expensive than Bradford, but Schwarz Confidante is a fantastic knife. The main difference is no finger choil in the blade itself, so you have 3.5" of cutting edge instead of 3", a more curved belly (for skinny, it's great) and a longer handle, which I also find better for skinning. If you're a hunter, Schwarz is a great knife. For a full blade EDC, I think you picked perfectly (or the 3.2).

I have the folklore in magnacut but with blue handle, of which I finished sanded to perfect fit. I love Gary Creely's blade I was seriously considering the mako is it as nice to use as some reviews say?
@npenick66
@npenick66 11 ай бұрын
@@jenkinsmig I thought the handle looked kind of weird but it melts into your grip. Between the blade shape and the handle it will do 90+% of what you want a knife to do, the ergonomics are very good. The Mako is a very good 'every day' knife. Given it's size and shape it wouldn't be my first choice as a camping or bushcraft knife, but I'd still take it with me as a backup. It's one of those knives that you get used to always having on you. The few times in the last 9 months when I chose to carry something else I still found myself reaching for the Mako. So far, the few people that I've spoken to that own a Mako have been very positive about it. The blade geometry is very slicey. Garden hose, zip ties, line for the weed wacker, trimming branches & PVC, etc have all cut like butter. I've only had to strop it once so far after months of daily use so Creely did a good job heat treating the magnacut. I have babied it a bit, use an old Izula 2 for those tasks that could really damage a blade. I live on some acreage so I'm always repairing the pvc water lines that go out to the fields and in the barn. I'll use the Izula to dig in the dirt and pare off broken or cracked pvc but the Mako to prep the new fittings, it's a cleaner slicer. I didn't think I'd like the pocket sheath because I wasn't used to that type of carry so I had a kydex sheath made so that I could carry horizontal on the front of the belt. I wanted easy access while sitting in my truck. But after trying the pocket sheath I tend to carry it that way more often than the kydex.

Commenting for the algorithm: The national footwear of Australia is the thong. On January 26th every year there is an Australian tradition that takes place; it’s called the “Thong Throwing Competition”. It basically means that you kick off your thongs (flip-flops), stand behind a line, and throw the thong as far as you can. The winner is the one who throws it as far as possible

So Listen to mee boooi. My Name is irrelevant but i'm addicted. To knife steels. X50CrMoV15 (1.4116), S30V, 80CrV2, elmax, M390 and four MagnaCut blades. The ease of sharpening from top to buttom: 1. the martiini lynx 80CrV2 puuko scandi 59hrc, the trc this is freedom M390 61hrc, Brisa Trapper 115 elmax scandi 60hrc, White River m1 backpacker pro MagnaCut flat convex 59 hrc, UG tools stealth compact survival 62 hrc, white-river m1 Marbled CF 2023 62 hrc, wmf Classic line flat X50CrMoV15 ?HRC. The ANV a100 MagnaCut flat convex 64 hrc and the S30V of my leatherman Charge tti are both incredibly difficult to sharpen. Both different reasons. And the most yay saying blades to strop will still be softer hc steels. But the edge retention one the MagnaCut ones is unreal. I dropped the 59hrc White river m1 on multiple occasion on concrete, nothing broke just dull spots. Tip intact. If I would to this to the m390 trc ( m390 Böhler designation /20vc crucible) the the chipping would be funny. The MagnaCut blades requiere some good diamonds and ceramics to be sharpened. Don't Start with the El cheapo Amazon waterstones. I'm using dmt dia sharp 8" stones, the spyderco 306UF, Fällkniven DC4 und CC4 as EDC sharpening, and a 12k Adelmayer resin bonded. The spyderco after the 12k. Then strop on course leather with dbk 4 micro stroppy stuff maybe some touch ups on the spyderco the stropping on DBK 1micron compound on dbk pocket strop. Go for the skerper, it's cheaper or DIY it from the get go. Don't cheap out on diamond stuff. I don't like the scratch pattern of the Amazon billo ones. Maybe they get better after use but I have to say the cheap waterstones are awesome for dressing the resin bonded 12k. The metal build up on those from MagnaCut is insane but not as much from the puuko. Thanks for reading. UG tools are working on a 65 hrc sheepfoot MagnaCut blade. I will not buy it. Oh no! not this time. This time different. Completely. (I will buy it 4sure)
