I have the magnaflow street series on my 2016 2.7 mt, i like it a lot, it is very reasonable nice sound, I just cut it down at the axle this weekend

We purchased one of these systems for our 05-15 Tacoma. Magnaflow makes it so it will fit ALL models with the 4.0L V6. We have a Tacoma with a 2.7L I-4. The only difference is the flange that connects the system to the factory connection. No biggie I had the factory flange changed. Our 2.7L Taco is supercharged w/ new to be released Magnuson Supercharger & equal length header. Sadly with the Supercharged 2.7L & header this system makes Women & Children run for their life’s at anything over 35 to 4k RPM’s. I’ve added another muffler 5x8x14 in front but it’s making Women & Children run! But it doesn’t drone!

Which setup did you choose? The loudest or quietest or middle? Doesn’t this exhaust have a few different settings

Is it a 2.5" or 3" diameter pipe? Interesting design of utilizing a resonator to create a chamber, sort of like what Flowmaster does. Very cool, does it drone inside the cabin?

Pipes are 2.5". There is very little drone at cruising speed.

Do you feel a horsepower and torque increase? I know that this exhaust is dyno proven so I was wondering your thoughts.

Felt a little more peppy when I first put it on, not sure how much of that was perceived do to the better sound though. Either way it sounds faster…

@infosponge Hola. Keep in mind I have a 17 DCLB Taco. What benefits of this exhaust, have you seen over stock? Less, same or more in cabin noise? Better, same or worse Gas mileage? Intrudes more or less into spare tire area? Any effects on get up n go/hp/torque? Anything you don't like?

I really like the sound. It sounds great under acceleration and only slightly louder than stock while cruising on the highway. I haven't noticed a difference in city driving MPG. I will be doing a long highway trip next week so I will keep on eye on it. It takes up a little more of the spare tire area but my 285/70/17 spare still fits. Truck feels more responsive but it could just be the sound playing tricks on me. The proximity to the spare tire is the only thing I was concerned about. But, when I measured the temp and the tip it never got hot enough to be an issue and the tire shows no signs of melting.

On a stock exhaust I get a drone at 40-60 mph when at a constant speed unless I step on it and it goes away...did you also experience this with stock exhaust?

I don't recall any drone from the stock system. The new exhaust has some under acceleration but is pretty mellow while cruising.

Very little if any. I only notice the sound when I am accelerating.

Not really. You can barely hear it at highway speeds unless you are accelerating.

Any drone and exhaust fume coming inside the truck due to its location?

There is very little noise at speed. The exit is just as far back as the stock pipe only tucked up under the bed. I don’t see how the exhaust would get into the cab.
