I love the excellent narration as you go through the repair, and the photo studio approach with the white background and the excellent lighting. It's very easy to see what you are doing and you are very thorough in your description of what you are doing.

LOL Sir, seriously, kudos to you and all others that use their training, knowledge and experience to rejuvenate usable gear of all matter of products. I sure hope everyone supports "Right to Repair" laws world wide and force manufacturers to build serviceable/recyclable equipment again. This disposable consumer goods mindset must end. Luckily, the USA made welding equipment I service and repair are mostly engineered and built with repair in mind. Nothing can be the longest lasting without being repairable. No way I literally had this exact unit! Bought it at a local Walmart around Valentine's Day 2009. DVD recorder still works flawlessly and has a digital tuner so it's surprisingly useful for recording TV programs, but my VCR part is acting up. The loading mechanism is jammed, looking for a replacement if I can find one. I think I also remember my unit doesn't play tapes right, but one step at a time I guess. Anyways, another great satisfying VCR repair video as always!😁🖒

Where do you get the schematics at? Ive been doing vhs player repairs for a few years now but its just been services , swapping broken parts . Figured i can read wiring diagrams for cars and forklifts , i can do the same for vhs players

I think it's cool that damage blue ray disc doesn't play at all plus damage DVDs proven it doesn't play at all yet I think it's so cool it doesn't yet damage vhs tapes proven there continue playing with out no problem's at all that is so cool

My mom gave me this exact model a few years ago. It's been sealed in the box in manufacturer packaging. It will not play my VHS tapes, and just powers off. Can I ship this to you?

Yea, yea , yea don't even use in your ears....Still have an all gear samsung VCR still working for digital conversions. Just need a SVHS now. Looked like some type of hybrid Funia/sylvania but don't think so.
