The round thing ,,,,, with the off set hole in it. That is a 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, Ford, 9" rear axle center section. They used those in 4x4's and they even went into a lot of drag race cars! Great find, great channel.

That's was a piece of a 9 inch ford rearend that held the ring and pinion gear. Theres another piece it's missing at the opening. That's where the pinion, crush sleeve and seal goes.

Hey Blake. Love the channel, which I just recently discovered! I grew up in Arkansas just across the river from Memphis and I remember exploring and traipsing all over the countryside through backwater ditches rivers and bayous. Had I owned a magnet like that back then I would have had a ton of fun! Bryce (?) is a complete nut for standing up on the rail like he does. I remember it scared the heck out of me at the thought of falling into some of that nasty water. Especially with some of the hazardous stuff ya'll pull out of those spots. Speaking of which I hope you kept that transfer case. If you clean it up there are plenty of parts supply companies that would pay you upwards of 400 dollars for it because they're old school practically bulletproof parts that are in high demand for restoring the vehicles they came in. When cleaning the casing up keep your eyes open you'll likely find a flat rectangular space the numbers and symbols stamped there identify the series serial # model # and vehicle # it was installed in. It would be very easy to identify exactly what that case was for.

You guys need a 12volt electromagnet. Everything falls off when you disconnect your power.
