It will be better and easy to first stick it to the mesh and then to the frame. Then it will come perfectly without any gaps or differences.

Well, I have bought for 3 different houses for me and my friends and we did experience it. Moreover this won't weight much, definitely not that we can't lift it and practically this will be more accurate.
