A magnetic PTT, this operates with a low power magnet worn on a wrist band. When brought into near contact with the PTT, the TX capability on the radio is activated.
The magnetic PTT has multiple uses, but is already proven in surgical environments where Covid 19 increased the amount of PPE required. This meant that improved communication between a surgical team was needed while ensuring they didn't touch anything.
The magnetic PTT will function through multiple layers, subject to testing.
