he was told that he had won so he could prep for the special song in the end. but he choose not to accept that and ended in second place prolly for the reason that this wasnt gonna end well

This was a great performance by Magni, probably among the top in the entire season but I disagree about Magni. Overall, he was not good enough as the the ones who went further than him and his attitude & personality sucked.

I'm an Icelander like Magni and it is ridiculous he didn't win this contest! He had and has such a beautiful voice it is unmatched and that song always gives me goosebumps! The only reason the other one won was because of his looks, that is all. And I am definitely not just saying it because he's from my country. He's just that good a singer he should've won.

I don't know if Magni is still playing here in Iceland but my god that is a long time, but then again my daughter does turn 16 this year so I was around 16 when this show was on. Did not remember it being that long ago!

Magni already had a band in Iceland. He’s all good! The singer they chose in the end was not the fan favorite, that’s for sure. I remember he appeared to be strung out, or that was the look and vibe presented. Magni rocked!
