Like the vid mate! Went on the same ride this morning, only started further down Nepean Hwy, must admit, whilst I like the idea of safety, found the beach trail, to be rather slow and very meandering at times.. I was out Sat morning, and all but a few riders (talking less than 1% guessing here) use the road in both directions.. There are places where there is no bike trail in places, and from Beaumaris, went on road heading down Nepean Hwy loved the ride.. Much more smoothe, and don't miss the regular bumbps that u get from concrete bike paths.. Still, it was very safe, just felt a bit slower, for u to get over 30kph on that, is even more impressive, as I had runners, dogs, fellow recreational/slower cyclists to avoid. Cannot believe how many cyclists use Beach road, not to mention the number (and size) of some of the pelotons that I saw.. They completely take one entire lane up..
