I found this GORGEOUS dresser selling at the Thrift Store for $19.99 and couldn’t believe my luck! I don’t often find used furniture at this price point anymore! Today I’m sharing how I took this vintage dresser and turned it into a floral beauty using a Magnolia Garden Furniture Transfer! I'm also sharing one of my favorite tools to sand in tight corners and how to wrap transfers into furniture details!

I love using a good transfer almost as much as I like watching another artist use one 🤩 Beautiful piece. Love the serene and tranquil color of the dresser. It really compliments the florals perfectly. And of course you have to have a little glam... 😊 Love it! Just found your channel!!

Sand Castle is beautiful with the transfer! Is that a cotton boll in the magnolia transfers? I have been looking for cotton bolls for so long! Great video and I know Andrea got a laugh when she heard you swapped the drawers for the staging picture!

Another beautiful piece! I bought that exact transfer to use on an old but charming dresser from my aunt. It’s been sitting in a drawer in same dresser - lol - but now I’m motivated to start the process. Highlight motivated! 😉

Love your makeovers! I “found” a child’s wooden rocking chair with a damaged cane seat. Any suggestions to redo? Refinishing for a child whose room is gray and pink.

Just wondering if transfers can go on chalk paint too or does it have to be smoother paint like the silk you used?

I did get the stickers and 😢 it ruin my paint . The glue is to much and pulled of the paint even after I let it dry for 4 days

as long people keep buying things at the thrift store at higher prices (priced as if they were new) the problem will continue...this people have exceptions from the government, get their items from donations (FREEEE) and they go around and charge an arm and a leg for even broken items....that is highway robbery... pay only for low prices items like the dresser in this video...soon if everyone do the right thing and skip items with high prices they will get the message....ahhh but the goodwill and other "thrift stores" have the audacity to say that the funds are for helping to train people in jobs...or to send them to school....yeah right...if that was true many young adults, single moms and dads will be trained and working for good paid jobs...but i only see them working low pay jobs at fast food restaurants...

I hear you and agree with much of this (can’t comment on what they use their profits for because I have no idea what thrift stores do with their profits) but yes, I have a limit on what I will spend on used furniture. Supply snd dena d right? Iv we stop tidying high prices they would drop. 🙂

@@SalvagedInspirations exactly...do not feed the best and the best will be gone...Here in my heck of the woods, they advertise that they help minorities and poor kids to graduate ??? I guess high school...never seen them saying that they help low income kids to go to college...and to train people for better paid jobs however...never seen anyone saying that they were trained nor found a higher paid job in other industries non fast food joints...
