The latest Magnorail Magicians are unusual in that one is a ModelRailway Club, one is the secretary of the club and the final one is a member of the club. They have created a fantastic Magnorail addition to their extensive club layout at DUBBO New South Wales Australia..
Over 7 metres long, the system does some heavy hauling with 15 vehicles plus some very large truck rigs. This team is worthy of being called Magnorail Magicians!

On with my first Magnorail road this week in the newly released UK TT:120 scale. On completion and how to video, may add another to either or both my OO layouts in future. A moving canal boat would be awesome and have seen the ones using Faller with actual locks rising as narrow boats or barges pass through. Love the one on the Magnorail website with a cyclist going under a canal bridge along with a boat. This video was inspiring and the cyclist videos are magical going through town houses or the one called ‘the accident’ was very ingenious, etc. Your videos with lakes and water skiing antics mixing both Magnorail and Falller are a joy to see but, my scenes will be set in a much more rural and usually cooler Yorkshire ❤

Thanks for your positive comments. Magnorail really does add a touch of magic to a layout. Really your imagination is your only limitation as Magnorail can go up and down hills, tight curves or even crude rafts and boats on water. If you are looking at rural scenes, check out kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rqifnNeC3sWRd5s.html why not have a rural scene with a tractor plodding through paddocks or trucks hauling produce. Using reed switches, Arduino boards or DCC activated movement you can really set a scene alive! Happy modelling - Clyde MagnorailOz

This layout shows how good a Magnorail system looks when you have plenty of space to set it out. Realistic movement in what would otherwise be (deliberately) a pretty empty space.

I wanted to see the long cattle train going round the turntable. I'm planning on building a canal layout, and I want to see how long boats can be.

Sorry - missed your comment but when dealing with boats and you want to maintain a realistic operation, your easiest way out is to hide the turning circle in a tunnel. You would need to have the chain go into the tunnel for the full length of your boat and when it does the 180 degree turn, allow enough clearance for the boats stern to clear any structure inside the tunnel as it turns back on itself. The Dubbo cattle train turning is a bit messy which is why the turning loop is hidden behind the silos to preserve the magic for when it reappears

I have sent links to a lot of people regarding the road train and Magnorail new motors with extra torque seem to do the job well. Must get up to Dubbo once Covid restrictions allow

Came across your video as I thought it said Dublo, anyways excellent stuff especially with the large trucks. Was wondering what your road surface is made from? I have also installed Magnorail on my Hornby Dublo layout, made a couple of videos with a couple demonstrating how I went about constructing it kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pLmEYLBix93IfKM.html and a more recent video of it all completed and running.. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ZrZ3jbt819Gvop8.html in total about 12/13 meters and about 20 vehicles.

Hi Ronald - I print whatever road surface I am after then laminate it with a matt laminate pouch. usually A3 so I can get some long roads plus fit multiple raids on a single sheet. If curves are involved I just print a whole sheet of the design then cut the curve out thus reducing the need for too many joins.
