Magnum XL61RFS Customer Engine The First Run

Күн бұрынThis is actually a very fine running engine. It will sit and idle at 2450 RPM for over 1 minute and then instantly transition to full throttle.
I would not hesitate to run this engine in an airplane for several seasons. The bearings sound fine to me.

Great video, would have liked to have the startup as part of the video like it is shown on the other engine vids. Wanted to see how difficult it was to start from cold and then once its hot....

With an electric starter it isn't difficult to start at all. I do not recall either as that was a long time ago.
