@@LeafyPeach that just proves my argument even more at the end of the day winning is what matters there have been moments when magnus has won by a thread like against fabi so thats a weak argument losing 3/6 games and drawing the rest is extremly one sided so such losses matter a lot

Magnus did seem to be struggling throughout all the games I was kind of surprised he usually has the best possible responses counterplay etc Maxine played excellent aggressive Chess Magnus might have let his emotions get the better of him in that last game he rushed his reply at a critical moment I’m sure he’ll be back on a winning streak soon enough

@gethindavies7138 he for sure is better than the rest of the field, but to claim he has no rivals? Excuse me! He almost got knocked in 2016 until he made his comeback against Sergey Karjakin. He also was almost a move away in 2018 against Fabi. He hardly won the SCC against Hikaru and hadn't won it for the last 5 years. So to say he has no rivals is just insane, Bobby Fischer could say so cz he sweeped the field as we saw in the candidates tournament.

MVL was better, thats it. Magnus first loss with white was not a Magnus thing, but props to MVL for being the one pressing on the board and the clock as well. A drawn endgame that magnus lost, it wasnt easy of course, MVL did a good job and the time pressure did the rest. Second game was easy draw abd the third was another winning game thrown by Carlsen. But its hard when MVL played such accurated and 4th game in a must win situation with black was such a bad sign. And then in the other match, magnus played fast a preparation that was crazy, but the craziest of all of this is that MVL did premove the entire full response, seems like MVL did that prep as well and it back fired to Magnus, also magnus had a good position but he was just under pressure, MVL was playing like he was another MVL. Hope magnus faces MVL again, i want magnus to take his revenge. This was a demolishing day for magnus, MVL didnt let him breath any moment and magnus was tilted 😅😢😂 dmn i love MVL but he did dirty to magnus, completely smashed him. Not throwing shade to none of them, magnus is very capable of winning against MVL, but this wasnt even close

What's the problem with you guys? First the match against Hikaru, then this. You just keep insulting Magnus for no reason. He's always respectful to everyone he plays with. I was told the other day that Magnus fans were insulting Hikaru as well. Well today I didn't see a single person in the chat insult MVL. So what's your obsession with Magnus that you just can't keep going?

Magnus is a retiree. His days of caring are finished. There's no quality control or true integrity to his play any more. He'll be remembered for quitting and spending the rest of his life playing drunk online, putting down randoms in "the chat", munching pizza between moves and swearing.
