Yes... he is in winners final and mvl in losers final... giri and Ian will fight in losers semifinals today and the winner will play mvl in losers final.. and the winner of that will fight magnus

He won the time bid in Armageddon. Both players bid for time and whoever's bid is lower gets black but only has the time he bid with while white gets 15 min. In return for this, black can advance with a win or a Draw (which is what happened in this case), while white has to Win to advance.
