Here's a short video on the Magpul QDM Sling Swivel -- a small product with some big features.

The unique dual slider release system works especially well in transitioning a dual mode sling from 1 point to 2 point. With the QDM the release is a natural movement (not a combined push pull with a regular QD). The QDM also instinctively repositions the hand for positive reinsertion under stress (a regular QD requires a thumb on the button to insert which means a sling reposition to gain access to the button).

i got the tac hammer tk22 stock/pistol grip and it came with a built in integrated QD swivel attachment, plus a molded in, non-rust, standard sling swivel attachment. so what sling do i get? mad confused cuz no video on youtube helps me..

@MAGPUL I just purchased the MS4 sling and the ASAP-QD. Major problem; this sling won't hold my rifle. The QD is either not attaching or something else is not to spec. These are brand new parts. Any ideas?

I know this is old, but I don't see why it wouldn't. You just won't get the rotation limiting feature of the battery tube compartments.

If you have a ctr stock, this is the qd you need, the normal oval ones don't fit right

Thank you. I purchased a regular oval mount and the CTR stock does not allow it to swivel. I have been scouring the internet for hours in search of reassurance that this swivel will work. God knows if I have to pay $30 for a sling swivel, it better work right. Magpul should really make this known.

That socket is 360 degrees. It's actually better with the oval one.

Until Magpul starts making their MS1-MS4 Single Point QD Adapter with this QDM, it's a novelty that even they don't believe in. You have to wonder why their MS4 slings with QD only come with the usual, oval QD swivel.

Theres two different versions of Magpul ms4, this is the qdm not the qd gen 2s. The only difference is that th qdm mounts are more heavy duty. You prolly ordered the other version

i love everything magpul makes for the most part and the prices, but this is fucking insane for a QD swivel, sorry thats wayyyyy too over priced for that.

Over 30 dollers after tax u have to be joking. i hate all these companies who over price these tiny metal parts that i can guarentee mass produced cost less than 5 dollers to make. Ill bet at even 9.99 it would sell but 30 no thank u.

Makes more sense to buy the sling as a whole cost wise. The entire sling at joe bob is 75 bucks with these qd mounts Hello to you from Maryland mr Dracula

Buy a qd sling mount for 10 bucks at retail. You get what you pay for
