This is a third party accessory and Samsung has nothing to do with it. It's the Case manufacturer which is allowing the "Magsafe" technology to be used. In this case (no pun intended) Encased. Spigen also do this and there are other big name companies too.

The only magsafe like case spigen makes for samsung seems to be only for the s23 ultra? They don't seem to make it for s23 or 23 plus or any other phone for some reason. I would've thought now that it's been over 3 months They would have it for more than just the ultra 🤷‍♂️ I've always used spigen and was going to move to their magsafe version but of course the first time I don't get the ultra They decided to only make it for the ultra 😂

actually without the case the magnets are already inside the phone they have same magnetic ring as apples its just their not as strong. and apples wireless magsafe charger works without the case needed for this phone

I Have some solid 3rd party MagSafe cases ,battery charger and wallet for my pixel 6 while I had it . Functionality was exactly the same as my iPhone 14 pro max minus software stuff from official apple products . I didn’t notice much difference between having a good magnet built into the phone frame compared to getting a 3rd party case with a really strong magnet . Glad it will be a mainstream option for android now .accessories bring so many options to the table. Right now my fav is the zero lemon MagSafe pack charges the phone , watch , AirPods and has pass through charging worked 3/4 of the way for my pixel minus charging my watch ultra wirelessly. Appreciate the content some people would never know about this otherwise it’s been out there , but there’s few content creators like yourself that equally Rep  and android products and accessories regularly

Good video but Samsung does not have magsafe. It’s the case that has the magnet built in. iPhones can use MagSafe without the case. Also spigen makes a MagSafe ring that you can put on most cases and use magnetic accessories and MagSafe accessories. Samsung doesn’t snap on the back of any Samsung phone unless the phone has small amounts of magnetic components inside which is what you probably are referring to.

That's cool. I bought a rubber magnetic ring I put on my cases to use a hand prop to hold my zfold 4. helps me so much with my carpal tunnel/RA flares in my hands 😊 I think having this is a great option. I agree, I think they are trying to finalize a name for it.

Magsafe is just Qi with the addition of the magnetic ring, which I believe will become part of the Qi standard eventually? But irregardless, Samsung phones have had Qi as far back as the S3, assuming you bought a special back cover to enable wireless charging on that model. So really the only thing needed to make most android phones "magsafe" is the magnetic ring in the form of a case or stick on adapter.

I agree with the other comments. This is nothing to do with Samsung hence they will not promote it. These third party sellers have gone out of their way to create cases with this technology for Samsung phones. Props to them.

I have peak design magsafe case for my s21 ultra and love it. This isn't new to android. They didn't talk about it cause their isn't magnets in the phone just the case . Magsafe won't work unless u have a case on it with magnets .

There is No MagSafe in the Samsung its just a third party case with a magnet. It’s possible to attach a MagSafe accessory to a naked iPhone but not Samsung as it isn’t equipped with the necessary magnets.

S23 and S24 have magsafe. My S22 didn't. I have the S24 and my cousin has a S24 and both are magsafe without cases

Magsafe is just qi wireless charging with magnets. Any phone that supporta wireless charging can charge via magsafe

It's not new technology. It's wireless charging, which Samsung has had for quite a long time. It's simply putting a magnet on the case to center and attach to the wireless charging spot. Nothing new with the phone

I wonder why they placed the round magnet too high and close to the bottom camera. Will the wireless charger not work if it was moved a centimeter lower?

Nice case, but magnet is on the case not Samsung. Samsung and other Android had built in wireless charger long time ago before iPhone introduce it. Yeah, iPhone follow it and put magnet on it. Preaty cool accessories

Its not magsafe technology broda.. its normal wireless charging from samsung. On amazon uk, theres an option to buy this case with a wireless 15w charger included for 25 bucks. Think its a good deal.

I just saw a video of S23 Ultra with a Spigen Mag Case and he was able to use Magsafe accessories just fine.

@@MikePerez74 when you use a magsafe accessory and use your S-Pen at the same time you're not going to be able to use a portion of the screen. For example I have a magsafe popsocket that I use with my S22U, but when I'm using that accessory with my s pen to write notes some of the screen is unusable due to the magnets.

You mean apple is offering QI wireless charging technology now?.. not the other way around. Been wireless charging my Samsung since my S6. Magsafe is just a magnet around the wireless coils.. Apple just likes to come up with proprietary names for stuff that's already been invented and I like the notch it's called the dynamic Island.. 😂🤣😂🤣
