And I am not asking about serials, refer to the Srimad Bhagavatam Mahapuran and give me one occassion where Karan even came equal to being even 1% of Arjun. During this fight with Duryodhana, Arjun did not straightaway use more force but he compassionately let Duryodhan fight and then he only tied up Duryodhan. Arjun never killed anyone unless absolutely necessary, whereas Duryodhan was looking to seriously injure Pandavas in this friendly competition, where Pandavas were not actually fighting. He also tried to poison Bheem in their childhood. 1. Let's settle one lie right here. Karan was a student of Guru Dronacharya and before coming to the samarpan yatra, all the princes including Kauravas + Karan and Pandavas had to give guru dakshina to Dronacharya. As per his vow to Drupad, Dronacharya had said that even though he can defeat Drupad easily, Dronacharya will train a student himself who will defeat Drupad on his behalf. Because he felt that since Drupad was a teacher of his father Rishi Bhardwaj, defeating Drupad will bring insult to his own father. All the 99 Kaurav brothers + Yuyutsu + Karan were captured by Drupad. They were freed when Panadavas who were led by Arjun in battle defeated and captured Drupad. And that is when Dronacharya had said that it was only Arjun who could have completed such a task at this young age of 23 years. And that he could also have defeated Drupad alone. 2. Though Arjun could have challenged Karan anytime and defeated him easily but killing Karan would have been difficult due to Karan's divine armour, but Karan could never come close to defeating Arjun because Arjun was better skilled and could easily injure Karan enough that he will not be able to fight anyone until he recovers. Karan will also get prone to becoming tired like a regular human, but since Arjun knew that Karan always competed with him and will always use his armour as his final defense. Arjun developed his senses that he can fight for days without sleeping, hence he is called Nidravijayi. And Arjun knew that Kauravas will fight him in large numbers when he is alone, he trained hard to fight many warriors at the same time, hence he is also called Sabhyasachi. 3. Karan is being praised for being a student of Bhagwaan Parshuram but he was also a student of Guru Dronacharya and abandaned Dronacharya when he was called unworthy of the Brahmasheer Astra. Serials show that he was not taught the Brahmastra but that is incorrect, many other warriors like Yudhisthir, Satyaki, Karan, Pitamah Bhishma and other knew the skill of Brahmastra. But the Brahmasheer Astra was incredibly more powerful and was known only by Rishi Agnivesh, Bhagwaan Parshuram, Guru Dronacharya, his son Ashwatham and Arjun in Mahabharat times. However Arjun was not only a student Guru Dronacharya, he also learned from all Bhagwaan Shri Krishna, all the Devtas or dieties in Swarglok, Gandharvraj Chitrarath and finally he also learnt and took blessings from Mahadev. He had given due gurudakshina to all his teachers. Karan had never given gurudakshina to his teachers and he and the Kauravas are never considered students who completed their education. 4. Arjun has defeated Karan on several occassions like the Virat Yuddh and also has saved his life in the Gandharv Yuddh. Arjun has never been defeated by anyone in the Kaurav army, whereas Karan has been defeated on numerous occassions by Arjun, Bheem, Saatyaki, Abhimanyu and many others. Arjun has also defeated Pitahmah Bhishma, Guru Dronacharya, Guru Krupacharya, Karan and Ashwathama all together. Karan never stood a chance against these warriors, in fact only Ashwathama could face Arjun for sometime but lost and ran away eventually.
