This has more confusing and fake. This is just too slow. This iteration of Mahabharat is one of the worst ones we have seen, the only reason it's not the worst is because we have suryaputra Karn, radhakrishna and Karnsagni. They are kalyug propaganda and attempt to defame sri Krishna, but it will fail as Hari om tat sat.

None of the scenes are real. The Mahabharat is not one book written by a single author. The Shishupal story, for instance, comes from a poem written long after the original manuscript. However it's widely seen as being canon. There have been so many revisions and additions that it's almost impossible to say exactly which parts were in the original manuscript and which were added later on. You can't make a TV show by copying the original scene for scene. Then every adaptation would be the exact same, and nobody would watch them. The important thing is whether or not this show stayed true to the spirit of Mahabharat, and that it definitely did. Whether they copied exact scenes is irrelevant.

But over thousands of years hundreds if not thousands of people have revised and reinterpreted it, to the point that today it's impossible to say for sure exactly which parts were written by him and which parts were added later on. Which is proved by the fact that each region of India has different Mahabharat stories and tales, probably added/edited by those who translated and copied the original text over the years. Nobody has read the original Mahabharat written by Vyas. All we have are the versions copied and interpreted by others. Who's to say which version is the most accurate? Did Hindi translators change it more than Kannada ones? Were Bengalis more accurate or Marathis? This debate is meaningless. Any adaptation will make changes to the original work. If it doesn't, then what's even the point of adapting? If two Mahabharat serials simply copy each other scene for scene, who would watch it? The question is not whether something was added from imagination. The question is whether or not it adds positively to the overall core message of the story. If a change ruins the original story, you can criticize it. But criticizing it just because it's a change...that's not valid.

If you have proof, please feel free to share) but even if it was carved on rock, rocks erode. No rock carving can remain intact for 3000+ years. And the book in Varanasi is just one among many copied versions stored in many temples and libraries across India. Why should we consider it to be the authentic source? Are you saying it was the original manuscript that Ved Vyas wrote on?
