You're absolutely right when you say what is immortal cannot be acceptable. Unfortunately, we can only join the dots and can't go back in time. The fact remains that there were immortal acts being committed and the Bhatias (who were both wealthy and influential) did come forward and gave statements that proved to be detrimental and went against Jadunath Maharaj. I myself am a Vaishnav and belong to the sampraday and am proud that this incident hasn't deminished my faith. True or not, this definitely made all the Maharaj's more vigilant and has only made them stronger.
