Maharaja Movie Review: In this Nithilan Swaminathan directorial, a man named Maharaja (Vijay Sethupathi) files a police complaint because the 'Lakshmi' in his house goes missing. When he goes to the police station to file a complaint, there's a thief in custody who is named Police. Maharaja, the film, is full of such droll contradictions.

I watched this movie after watching this review. And I feel even this review is not enough. I am not a person who usually comment on social media. But after watching this movie I was literally silent and remain seated alone in dark for some time. A really great movie with no nonsense songs, overacting nothing. Just great acting justifying the great story.

You are right bro I rarely get imotional and I rarely watch any movie but this movie make me imotional. You can't imagine how I controlled myself. My eyes got tear for 2 sec. and I watch the last 7 min 2 times. And I think If any movie can make me weap for 2 sec. I can say it is very imotional movie. This thing I am telling because I used to think I was very Hardcore man nothing could break me. This is not reality I knew. But yet

Kya movie hai yaar. Till interval I was thinking ki itni simple story to hai isme Aisa kya hai. But 2nd half kya hi hai loved it. Vijay Sethupathi G.O.A.T and Anurag Kashyap what a acting. Other than both of them the girl also acted so beautifully. Also the other supporting staff was fab too. And the ending of the movie is no one could have imagined.

it is one of those films that you just can't forget no matter how much time passes. The realness of actors, scenes dialogues .. the gritty human-ness is so palpable. Nothing is fancy. Anurag is a fine cast, main lead is brilliant, and I was so happily surprised how Police was depicted: they are petty, money grabbing, corrupt but damn there is a line that even they do not ever cross. No reveals, so wont say much. Last 15 minutes, I have repeated almost every scene to re-watch, to see expressions of other actors. Recommended

I have seen more than 15 movies of Vijay Sethupathi Sir.He always deliver master class performance👑,never disappointed the audience🙏.After watching "Vikram Vedha,96,Viduthalai 1,Super Deluxe" I could never forget them. And I never forget this Maharaja..As a big fan of his Acting I can say it's the best of best. Always my favorite Genre is crime,suspense, thriller. This movie gives everything. Suspense+Thriller+And Lot of twist.And the climax 😵💫 (The climax of this movie can be compared to famous Hollywood movies "Incendies" and "Old Boy") Really if you don't like this type of Movie then don't watch it, you can't tolerate😰..Plot and Storytelling are out of the world. Sure Your Head will Spin🤯😰🙏 After complete this movie now i need smoking 🤯 😢
