Set in Bihar of the ’90s, this story shows how an illiterate woman handles the state as Chief Minister. Rani Bharti's life takes an interesting turn when her husband, Bhim Singh Bharati, announces her to be the next Chief Minister of Bihar. While all the party members look pretty excited to know the name of the successor, this decision by Bihar’s CM shocks everyone.

इसी को लालू जी के राज को जंगल राज बोलते है ये नही कहते की अगड़ों के अत्याचार से मुक्ति दिलाने वाले लालू जी जैसे महापुरुष को पिछड़े , दलित , मुसलमानों को हक अधिकार दिलाने वाले महापुरुष का साथ नही दिए और लालू जी पर संघी कीड़े अत्याचार किए , फिर भी टूटे नही बल्कि एक योद्धा के तरह हर परेशानी का डट कर सामना किया जय हो लालू जी

Nice.story line director actores r quite fine.something different from general crap. I did not know Huma quraishi. Thought just another one with a good looking body. But when I came to know I'm surprised on a stunning performance. The most surprising is how the director was so assured and comfortable.HUMA QURAISHI REALLY DELIVETED WITH ALL OTHER CAST.GREAT STORY TELLING.TEN OUT OF TEN.

Maharani is a completely original story. This story is not based on the life of Rabri Devi. The series is speculative historical fiction, so the concept of " female CM of name only" is influenced from the real life incident of Rabri Devi becoming the PM. Otherwise Rabri Devi and the character Rani Bharati have nothing to do with each other.

In temples only one community is for competition and also 100% reservation still ignoring it, illiterate. Oppression and discrimination, untouchability faced by dalits not brahmins kid.
