It was narrated from al-Husayn ibn ‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “The miser is the one in whose presence I am mentioned and he does not send blessings upon me.” Narrated and classed as hasan by at-Tirmidhi (3546); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Sunan at-Tirmidhi. Thank you for your respectful message. Consider why the narrative of the Shia is not found in the Quran. Why did Allah tell us to call upon Him when in need or seek forgiveness from Him? Why did Allah not say call upon the Imams? The imams are so fundamental to Shiism but are not found in the Qur’an. Why is that? Anyone can superimpose their narrative on the Quran. What is the issue with sticking to the clear cut verses of the Qur’an. Allah tells us to call upon Him, so do so. Why do we continuously find that what Allah attributes to Himself, the Shia attribute to the imams? Where do we find clear cut evidence for the Twelver concept of imamah in the Quran? What is the difference between the Shia and what the Quraysh did? They also believed in Allah. May Allah guide you to the truth.

@@SunnahDiscourse Surah Al Fatiha ”You we worship and you we call for help”. Shia don’t have a problem with this, because we call upon Allah, he is the solver of all problems. But when we say ”Ya Ali!”, we don’t mean ”Oh Ali, help us”, that’s not the niyyah, and IF it is, then that’s wrong, but if you ask any shia they’ll tell you the same thing, but it’s very difficult to judge someone based on their niyyah, if not impossible. Haven’t you wondered why you don’t find Shia saying ”Ya Muhammad, forgive me!”? Because forgiveness is solely from Allah, but supplication, on the other hand, there’s a means to reach it. Surah 5 Verse 35 in the Glorious Quran says ”Seek nearness to Allah and seek a means to reach him.” (although i understand that Shi’i and Sunni tafseer are different, but as i said previously i’m not seeking to prove this from a Sunni viewpoint, but rather from a Shi’i). And also from a Shi’i viewpoint, the Imams (a) have uncountable verses mentioning them, but one thing that i think a lot of people don’t know about Shi’i belief is that we believe that the Glorious Quran and the Ahlulbayt (a) have an EQUAL importance in our deen. We need BOTH of them to not go astray. One verse from the Glorious Quran says ”Obey Allah, and the Messenger, and those vested in authority amongst you.”, You see that the obedience to Allah (swt) is the same as obedience to the Prophet (s), and the obedience to Allah (swt) and the Prophet (s) has the same authority as ”those vested in authority amongst you”. Logic tells me that a fallible human being can not have the same authority as Allah (swt) and the Messenger (s), those have to be divinely appointed, rightly guided infallible guides. From a Shi’i standpoint, we think that with the guidance of the Ahlulbayt (a) we can understand the Glorious Quran FULLY, it’s true meaning, the inside and outside of it as you say. The Imams (a) have no attributes of Allah, except that which he wills, and this is nothing that was introduced in the time of the Prophet (s), as we find that Allah (swt) allowed for Maryam (a) to be able to communicate with him (through Jibreel (a), of course), we find that Jesus (a) was able to revive the dead and we find that Moses (a) could split open the sea. The Quraysh seeked nearness to Allah (azwj) through hand sculptured objects. There is a difference between seeking nearness through the greatest creation of Allah (swt), the master of all the Prophets (a), the one whom Allah didn’t refer to by his birth name, but by ”Habibullah”. If you bring me a verse where Allah (swt) referres to these sculptures as ”Habibullah” i will gladly follow any sculpture of your choice. 😂 Then again, there are mysteries to the Glorious Quran that one can only find through people whom Allah (swt) has given the full knowledge of the Holy Scripture to. But i’m also not delusional, sunni’s do of course have their own perspective on the Imams (a), and Shi’i’s have their own, both believe to be on the Haqq. Now, when it comes to finding clear cut evidence to the Twelver concept from the Glorious Quran, from the Twelver Shi’i viewpoint it’s clear. Of course, you won’t find a verse in the Glorious Quran saying ”Follow the 12 wali’s after the Prophet’s (s) demisal.”, but neither did the Glorious Quran say that about the 12 descendents of Abraham (a), but it does say ”but surely, We had given the Family of Abraham the Writings and the Wisdom and conferred to them a Kingdom of magnificence.". It’s obvious to follow the 12 descendents of Abraham (a), as Allah (swt) made them Prophets (a), then what about the 12 descendents of those descendents? What about the 12 descendants of the Prophet Muhammad (s)? They hold neither a higher nor lower value than fallible human beings? That doesn’t make sense to me. And also, the Glorious Quran says ”And when there comes to them news of security or fear they spread it abroad; and if they had referred it to the Apostle and to those in authority among them, those among them who can search out the knowledge of it would have known it...” i.e (according to Shi’i belief) the Prophet (s) and the Imams (a) have COMPLETE knowledge for the guidance of mankind. Those can’t be ordinary fallible human beings... And then in another verse the Glorious Quran says ”Or do they envy the people for what Allah has given them of His grace? But indeed We have given to Ibrahim’s children the Book and the wisdom, and We have given them a grand kingdom.” i.e (according to Shi’i belief) that Allah (swt) has appointed Prophets (a) and Imams (a) from the progeny of Prophet Abraham (a). Is it hard to believe that the Prophet Muhammad (s) also had 12 infallible descendents to guide humanity after his demise? Then again, when we want to find a tafseer of a verse from the Glorious Quran, we go back to our books and to the Imams (a) and the Prophet (s), and they all say to follow Alee Muhammad (s) in GREAT detail. Most probably you won’t agree with what i have written, but i just do this to show that the Shi’i belief is not as far fetched as some people make it seem. I know it’s a long message my brother, and i’m sure you have a lot of important things to do, so please take no hurry in responding to this message. May Allah (swt) guide us all.

@@fifaleague9143 Oh Jahil. I have to explain like child to you. Umar (RA) and other companions first asked Prophet (pbuh) for rain correct? He was alive back then yes? When he (pbuh) passed away, they went to his beloved uncle. Notice now that both the Prophet and the beloved uncle Abbas (RA) invoked Allah for rain. Al-Abbas (RA) did not invoke the Prophet for rain nor did the companions go to the grave of the Prophet and invoked him there to pray to Allah on their behalf for rain. This is the difference between the thinking of grave worshippers and other normal people. It is perfectly fine to go to a pious person, who is *alive* and ask him to make Dua for you. The dead people cannot do anything for you. Period. Everything that you have attributed from the attributes of Allah with the excuse "biznillawh" to the 12 Imams is a lie. You have no evidence for it from the book of Allah. There is only evidence against it. 12 Imams that can hear millions and billions of people simultaneously and make Dua on their behalf. Millions of people speaking languages all the way from Punjabi to Portugese and everything in between in different accents and dialects. Yeah buddy this is the power of Allah alone.

@@wb3123 Your first point is that Umar asked the Prophet (saw) and the Prophets uncle to ask Allah for rain. That is exactly what the Shia's do in the sense that we ask the Prophet and our Imams to ask Allah to accept our duas. Everything comes from Allah in this world and no one else. If you think that is not what we believe then pls do your research and not from a spin off video. Your second point is that the person has to be alive. Where have you seen that you can only ask when a person is alive. Who made this rule, enlighten me. Further than that, Allah says in the Quran that those people who have been martyred for the cause of Allah do not die, in fact they are alive. Surah 2 verse 154. In that case, our Imams died in the cause of Allah and thus they are alive. Thus that negates your second point on that the person has to be alive. Now if you think that our Imams were not important people, then that is your narrative and a completely different argument altogether. But hopefully this has shown you that if you want to make fun of what we did then inadvertedly you are making fun of Umar.

I believe this is quite clear refutation of many beliefs that sometimes are not openly claimed, in regular circles because of how weird they are. One example I found it to be clear it was on this Du'a book called "The Keys to Paradise" it is a very very famous dua book for Shias. I live in a spanish speaking country, so people were using a spanish translation in a nice hard cover edition. BUT... the translation was missing one very disturbing practice which is found in the original book (also you can find english translations and videos on Sheikhs promoting it). Which is the "Prayer to seek aid in the name of Fatima" Which basically asks you to prostrate, and WHILE in prostration say "Fatima help me" If this is not complete shirk, then Islam is being thrown out the window. I remember I asked several iranian sheikhs and they told me that the prostration was not for Fatima, it was for Allah but the du'a was for Fatima. Either way is horrible, so I completely stayed away from these people.

My comment is very anecdotical, of how I felt disturbed and how I tried to ask the teachers, and as an anecdote I am not asking you to take it as clear fact. But what I am asking you to take as fact is the existence of that Du'a found in Mafatih al Jinan (the keys to paradise) which is a full mainstream book. Go and see how real it is. Then you take your conclusion.

@@morali3941 Brother I checked the book you mentioned and it is written by an 18th century man, so it is note a mainstream belief book; but you're right, the defence of such a book is wrong and a support of Shirk. I don't need such books, I can see the daily practice of present Shi'a chanting 'Aly Madad and Du'a like Nad-e-'Aly which are clear Shirk.. Same practices can also be found in many people of Sunni, following barelvi( an offshoot of Hanfi), I saw here in Pakistan. There are books like "Namaz-e-Ghousia" for Shaykh Abdul Qadir and other Shirk practices. What I want to say is, such Du'a and practices are not present in their mainstream Hadith book, if they are not, it's not in their beliefs for sure. But it must be said that present day Shi'a are mistaken who do not disown such practices!
