One is as old school SUV while the other is an MPV and both have a fan following for strikingly different reasons. However, they also have a lot in common, like their ladder-frame construction and rear-wheel drivetrains which are relatively rare this side of the Rs 30 lakh price space.
With the launch of the new generation Scorpio, this SUV has become more mature, more comfortable and also more family-friendly, to the extent that Mahindra themselves have compared this car with the Innova Crysta on certain aspects, internally. No other manufacturers can beat Toyota when it comes to reliability and comfort. Innova crysta is best when it comes to comfort. Scorpio is a SUV, both are poles apart. They have already failed to deliver XUV 700 and Thar on time due to excessive booking and same situation will be repeated with Scorpio.

Scorpio should have added sliding second row seats just by adding 20-25k in price. It could have make huge refference in sales. Look at the safari, most of 7 seater buyers are preferring safari over innova and scorpio

Toyota is reliable no doubt about that but Taxi services have forced to raise the price of Toyota. Now it has crossed the equilibrium of being reliable and value for money. Current Toyota for 31 lac is bad choice and people buying it are just those who follow trend blindly.

Praveen pm .. Their are lot of reliable engines it’s just you don’t know about it. Drive a 2500cc diesel Toyota and then drive 2200 cc Xuv… You will know the difference. Xuv will feel more powerful and more reliable… Fiats 2000 cc engine is also not that bad. Toyota is good no doubt but it’s just a rich man’s poor car nothing more. Mahindra, Tata all are poor man’s rich car.

@@avl123 I am happy to own one Toyota as well but now Toyota is trying to make fool of Indian people by selling a cheap 25lac car for 32 lac. Yes some Indians can be fooled but not everyone of us. If I would purchase a car worth 80/90 lac then I would never purchase a Toyota. Toyota has a brand value but that dismisses after 60 lacs.

No it’s not as simple as that. Price of Innova is 10 lac Rs higher then Scorpio… You can buy one more Compact Suv with good mileage with that and now you have a ability to seat more people than Innova. Reliability or Resale works only when the main product is priced well.. Innova is over priced by at least 5 lac Rs. all people who are buying it right now are fools.. If you want to buy it wait for 2023..

Overall the new Scorpio-N proves to be a good all-around package. It does have a few shortcomings. Cabin practicality could be better, interior quality for a car at this price point could be more consistent, its third row is cramped and the boot space for such a large car is disappointing. On the other hand, Toyota Innova Crysta is an MPV segment car and it would be a reliable package, if you require a comfortable car for a large family and want good power delivery, safety, and a spacious cabin. The only big compromise in Scorpio N is the boot space if mahindra would have increased the length as long as innova's it would have been easy winner because the other cons like no ac vents in third would not be necessary because AC in scorpio n is quite powerful for three rows and touch and feel won't matter that much to buyers but as said my choice would be Scorpio N if I would want a rugid suv between Thar and XUV 700 or if I was a family person then I would clearly go with Innova or Carens.

@@apsgill12 Bro, Toyota ZX is priced 31 lacs and it’s features are comparable with Scorpio n Z8 which has a price of 21 lacs. 10 lacs cannot be given to reliability alone. Toyota has good resale value but still it cannot justify 10 lacs. You buy Tata Nexon or Xuv 300 for 10 lac and save on fuel when u don’t need Scorpio n…

Reliability is thrown out of window when competitors have 5 star Ncap rating and cost Rs 10 lacs less. Their is no forte in buying Toyota Innova now, wait for 2023 Innova.

I am just saying Innova needs a serious update with its looks and interiors and features. 31 lac rs for top model Innova is unjustified. I would also like to tell you I own 2011 model Xuv and 2013 model Innova. Both are doing good and they have never left me or my family stranded anywhere. I was looking to replace Xuv but it’s long waiting period is troubling but still went ahead with the booking.

Scorpio can accommodate a lot of luggage. Luggage lagane ka tareeka aana chahiye bass.. Folding the 3rd row seats it can easily accommodate at least 5-6 Medium suitcases along with 4-5 bags

Hello ,I have been looking for a SUV which is comfortable plus having off road capabilities and comes under my budget which is 25,000 I waited aloy and booked Scorpio N.. But due to dealership misconduct (taking advance money to give priority) I didn't come under 25000 (cuz I didn't pay them before booking day) which I have reported Mahindra but no action has been taken till now.... So I was thinking about Innova Crysta instead of N.. and was also looking for comparision b/w them... So I saw ur video .. Your video was amazing it cleared my doubts..

जो स्कोपियो N खुबिया है वो सेम हो जाता है लेकिन अगर इनोवा में कुछ अलग है वो पल्स प्वाइंट है हमारे इंडिया के लोगो की ये सोच कभी भी नहीं बदलने वाली है चाहे देशी कर कंपनियां कितना भी सस्ता और अच्छा गाड़ी बना दे लिकिन इन लोगो कमियां निकलने से फुरसत मिलेगा तब तो कुछ अच्छा दिखेगा

Why some people don't buy Toyota क्यू की उन्हे अच्छे brand की गाड़ी alredy reliable मिल जाएगी Toyota से 4× features Toyota से 2× अच्छे looks Better performance Better ride feel Better stering response.. Nd many more भाई कौन अब 15/20 साल गाड़ी रखता है 10 साल is good for today gen.. Reliablty का कब तक आचार डालेंगे ??
