Mileage in city would be between 7-9 KM/L, on highway it would be 10-12 KM/ L for petrol version.

then buy deisel . xuv 700 give 20 km/l on highway if you drive at less then 90 km/h . every body knows how maruti increased their mileage , swift dzire weighs 900 kg and 80 hp engine gives 22-23 km/l . only a idiot will expect same mileage from 1800kg car with 203 hp engine.

I hate mahindra scorpio N because of no sliding seats for 2nd row and low profile ground clearance minimum 230 mm would be much better for offroading bit no. Its sucks man ☹☹☹☹👎👎👎👎

Petrol SUV with approx 200 bhp power wont give anything above 9 kmpl on highways (because the tendency will be to accelerate) and not above 6 kmpl in cities. Guess, they will withdraw this model after a year or so as they wont find much takers at 120/ a litre petrol. Looks like generally (in all variants) except the "big daddy" stance and 255 wide tyres, there are lots of misses - like no hydraulic support for bonnet hood (which is a basic need for such big daddies), non sliding middle row, uncomfortable reclining position on middle row, no auto dim IRVM, no telescopic adjustment on steering column, not much storage for bottles and other stuff (i felt my cousin's Nexon has at par or better storage), lack of usb charging and ac vent at rear row, rear camera quality, missing ventilated seat at least for the driver. I am just discounting the lack of boot space and a crammed 3rd row for the looks and the "big daddy" stance.

it is worth buying considering it is half the price of Fortuner . spend that 20 lakh you save on petrol. Mahindra have not put that much in a petrol engine to discontinue it .

@@TheJohn222222 Aha, i didnt know that Mahindra did not put "that much" (effort/money) in a petrol engine to discontinue it. I thought Mahindra is an expert in doing that, they way they did with thier Marazzos, TUVs and Xylos and slowly with the KUVs, which have gone in oblivion, but without fooling some hapless, unsuspecting customers. So far i dont have a dire need to "save 20 lakhs", I drive an XC90 (the old model) regularly here in Stockholm and have a BMW X7 parked in the garage. Anyway, thanks for the advise. I just happened to comment on it as a cousin of mine had forwarded the link asking about my opinion, I realized it has become a "trend" on social media there, however, thought of some realities that may be in store in that country considering the fuel price vs mileage that people living there keep worrying about.
