I recently had my i20 asta (o) petrol got serviced and since my car is 6+ years old and it was not a free service, all the labour charges starts getting applicable and i was not surprised when I saw that my labour charges were more than part costs. Even i was told that my disc brakes (front) were worn out and they needed a slight scrubbing to remove rust but the irony is that this was done at third party (outsource) and the so called state of the art Hyundai service centre do not have a simple lathe machine 😏 My total bill came to 14327/- (after 5% discount on parts and 10% on labour) Let me be blunt, you being a youtuber got all the special attention, it would have been interesting if you would have approached them like a normal customer and saw their real customer service.

Hi, first of all big fan of your content. I too own the XUV 700 AX7 L petrol version and referred to your channel for all the content around it. One weird thing that I noticed is we cannot manually lock the car from outside, I tried but its physically impossible due to the retractable door handles. Met Mahindra guys they also had no solution, If you guys know of anything ?

This was 3RD FREE service ( no labour charge ) (20,000kms) in which they did 1) ac filter replacement 2) inspection of all fluid 3) suspension retorquing 4) brakepad inspection 5) all light checking 6) washing and cleaning all this for RS-2350 ONLY

It is important that we change engine oil every 10,000km. It high capacity, high power and torque producing engines especially this required. Moreover, highway drives keep the engine running at low to mid RPM for a long duration, increasing the effort by the engine. Engine Oils have advanced so much and even high end luxury cars which use higher grade and more expensive engine oils, recommend replacing engine oil from 10,000km to 15,000km (max.).

Yes With you Hamesha app mein cost dekh ke bahot fayda hota hai, recently mera one year service hua for XUV700 and muzhe estimate bola 7500rs, mein gharse dekh ke gaya tha expected amount was around 3500. SO meine pucha bhai app mein itna aur aap itna kyun bol rahe ho. tab samzha Wheel alignment bhi include kiya tha usme, jo ki 10,000km or One year ka service meine expected bhi nahi tha. SO meine usko app ka price dikhaya aur phir usne wheel alignment ka cost nikalke price kam kar diya. (Mera 6500km complete ho gaye hai in one year so wheel alignment was not necessary aur gadi ek side bhi nahi ja rahi hai)

No doubt,aam logo se aap ko acha treatment aur achi service aur acha experience hi mila hoga,,,

Oil change ??? With oil change this amount 2,300/- is not possible at all

These 15-20k oil change service intervals look good on paper and are actually bad for your car. 8-10K is ideal if you want to keep your engine internals in top shape in the long run. New engines are built better and can take abuse when they are new & even if you don't keep on top of your oil changes but that bites you 7-8 years later. If you are someone who changes your car every 3-5 years manufacturers assume ki ye banda naya le k chala rha hai and by the time they are done with it the engine won't give any significant trouble to them so they will have net +ve experience. Change your engine oil at 8-10k. If your daily drive is bumper to bumper then 8k is best. Drain & refill your "lifetime" cvts & auto boxes every 40-50000km.

I'm guessing it would take 5-6k for the 20000km service. Let's see if I'm correct or not. And... After the video, it's just 2.32k. Kudos to Mahindra!! Didn't expect this, and the app integration has been done really well. Hopefully every dealer does the service in 90 mins as promised and the app runs well without huge errors.

Sir I too own an xuv700 petrol manual and I recently clocked 15,000 km and the service executive told me to replace the front break pads because he said it will only run for approx 1000-1500 km more. The cost which I paid for front break pads was roughly around 8.5k so was it okay? Also I need to ask do we replace all the four break pads together or the front ones first and then the rear? Please reply and solve my query.

Mahindra xuv5OO owner since 2016. Jaisa video mein dikhaya hai vaisa kch nahi hota normal owners ke saath. 90 minutes qwik is not available for today please try next week. Staff behavior is not as shown in the video. And cost of service is as high as BMW. My BMW X1 service cost is lower than mahindra. Problem ka solution hee nahi aata mahindra mein. They say "Aisa har mahindra mein hai" For example brake noise, low ac blower, ac noise, suspension noise, gad gad gad, 2nd row ac flow and many more. Service cost of mahindra is very high and if still want mahindra make a habit to drive with gad gad suspension boise low ac flow brake noise rattling noise.

VAG Group cars give 5yrs default warranty while can be extended to 10yrs.

Service cost is too high for xuv700 @ 40000 km they gave me an estimate of Rs 50000 . That is too too high till now mahindra have taken Rs 70000 and keep pushing for more
