Johan and his team are THE BEST!! The sloth and monkey hangout is one of the most memorable experiences in 27 cruises! And the Roatan Rum Factory is AMAZING.

And of course the Best tour company there Real Deal Roatan I would not use anyone else they are very friendly and very informative, Johan was so patient with me when I asked him so many questions lol!!! Always enjoy your videos. You guys are lucky to know so many vendors to use other than ship’s excursions. We use a gal named Bernadette on St,Kitts that we have used to take us on the island where the crew ships don’t go. It’s very relaxed without being pushed from one area to another. 👍 30:39

Great video! I’ve been to Roatan several times and I’ve never seen most of the places you showed. Also, I may have gotten choked up when you were in the chocolate factory and they were so happy to see you 💕

Many years ago when I took my first cruise, Roatan was the very first port call we made; And I will never forget the fun and excitement we had, especially mingling with the locals in their neighborhood. Great video that resurfaces the memories. I remember most of those hangout spots on West End Beach. So nice.

Scuba diving is amazing in Roatan. The reefs are healthy and bountiful with marine life. A must for diving enthusiast.

Was one of our stops on our Royal Caribbean cruise February 28th 20120. Love that port and wished I would have gotten more mahogany made things to take home

I absolutely love Roatan. I had a half hearted plan to retire there but things have unfortunately gotten kind of sketchy for ex-pats these days. Can't say I blame the locals though. But what an incredible place to visit. Especially love Little French Key, but the West End is amazing too (best snorkeling ever) and so are island tours like you guys did. Probably my favorite port.

Welcome back to Roatan! Make sure you guys go to Copan Mayan Ruins!

It’s well worth the 5 bucks for the taxi out of Carnival’s compound to the independent operators.... At least that was the charge a few years back. We took Rony’s tours at that time they were inexpensive, got us to the various activities where we wanted to go to and actually went out of their way to accommodate our wishes. Love Roatan it’s the type of tropical paradise you envision when sitting up north freezing in January. Our 2nd cruise to Mahogany Bay we stayed in the compound and it was also a great day. If memory serves me right it was 15 bucks for the chair lift to the beach for a day long pass. Booked on the Mardi Gras for January. Cheers🍻🇨🇦🥂🇺🇸👍

A really nice island. Mostly safe. Lots to do. Have been there 20 times. Have covered end to end. Besides scuba, good for snorkel. My wife even parasails there. Great view of coral reefs from above. Used to be some nice bars there. Lost contact with folks I used to know there due to COVID BS ! One moved back to the States. One moved back to Canada. Prior to COVID one even got put into local jail for over staying a VISA.

Maya caye in Roatan is my all time favorite excursion. have done it 3 times in Roatan and never get tired of playing with monkeys, would highly reccomend it

Great video, we will be in West bay January 2022. Curious about the mask rules on the Island. I noticed you wore a mask indoor and outdoor. I am hoping we do not need to wear mask outdoor. We love Calelu's it's our favorite spot for a cold beer and snack at sunset...you can see the mountains on mainland Honduras from the upper deck. Wow.
