I am from Bengal and krishnagar. BJP here did everything to defeat Mahua; who is a strong Modi-Adani critic. BJP put no stone unturned to communalize election campaign. Also, BJP is a hypocrite. They talk against dynasty. But in krishnagar gave a ticket to so called Rajmata. By the way her rich forfather was a British stooge; betrayed Free Bengal and took side with Mirzafar and Lord Clive of Britain. Bengal and Krishnagar defeated a British Stooge dynast and communal politics of BJP. It's not MAhua. It is the win of non-communal people of krishnagar and Bengal. By the way; BJP was trailing even in the Hindu dominated assembly sections like Krishnagar city or Chapra.

I hope she has learnt her lesson to be more careful on these protocols. Having said that Mahua like educated and logical people are needed in our leadership. The rotten brand of gujju mafia is robbing the country through proxy of Adani/Ambanis. And who will hold Modi / Shah liable for all the crimes they have committed? You should not be talking of security breach when Modi et al causes Pulwama, deaths of our Jawans at Galwan, deaths of farmers at protests (including Teny et al's crimes), ... the list is too long ... It is better if you get your brain on a logical front and not tow the line of BJP IT cell.

Bengal Tiger! Mahua Moitra! I had chills going up and down my spine watching Barka Dutt interview Mahua Moitra. She spoke calmly and brilliantly explained her viewpoint on a variety of issues which truly upholds her reputation. Is Wengal special in India? I think so for there is Rabindranath Tagore the greatest creative genius of modern India: poet, musician, educator, statesman and thinker - the Renaissance man of India. Is Mahua Moitra going to be the role model of the modern, educated Indian woman? Will Indian women take the cue from her and bury the misogynistic mindset of a lot of Indian men? if u add Tamil Nadu to the 3 states mahua mentioned, you have almost 210 seats in which bjp has only won 54!! ( Total blank in t.n. ).. and these are the 4 largest states in India with only Bihar in between Maharashtra and t.n. where bjp did something..

All of that is good and needed. Ask her Didi to develop her state. Too many people are coming to southern states to do low cost labour. Even with port connectivity and mineral resources, west Bengal except kolkata is too poor.
