Trinamool's Mahua Moitra, who is seeking re-election from West Bengal's Krishnanagar seat, is leading against BJP candidate Amrita Roy. According to the Election Commission of India (ECI), Moitra is leading by 57,083 votes.Mahua Moitra, who exuded confidence in winning the Lok Sabha polls from the Krishnanagar seat again, has so far garnered 62,47,11 votes, as opposed to the BJP's Amrita Roy's 56,76,28 votes, as per trends. CPM candidate, SM Sadi came thrid with 1,79,063 votes in the seat.

This is how the BJP hounds their worthy opponents…..by using the state machinery (CBI, ED etc)to serve their vested interest. It is a very dangerous trend. I love the foreign policy stance of the BJP & other infrastructural developments in the country but I am absolutely against this. I dread the normalisation of such trends.
