കാത്തിരുന്നു കാണുക കഴിഞ്ഞ പ്രാവശ്യം മഹുവയെ പാർലിമെൻ്റിൽ നിന്ന് പുറത്താക്കാൻ വൈകിപ്പോയി. എന്നാല് ഇപ്രാവശ്യം വളരെ നേരത്തേ തന്നെ പുറത്താക്കാൻ ഉള്ള വഴികൾ ഈ സര്ക്കാര് ശ്രമിക്കും. ചുരുങ്ങിയത് പ്രധാന ചർച്ചകളുടെ സമയത്തെങ്കിലും. കഴിഞ പാർലിമെൻ്റിൽ സ്പീകർക്കുള്ള പ്രധാന ജോലി പ്രതിപക്ഷത്തെ അംഗങ്ങളെ പിടിച്ച് പുറത്താക്കി ഭരണ പക്ഷത്തിൻ്റെ സർവ്വ അരിതായ്മകൾക്കും പച്ച്‌ക്കോടി കാട്ടുക ആയിരുന്നല്ലോ അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻ്റെ പ്രധാന ജോലി. അതിന്നു വേണ്ടി ആണല്ലോ സ്പീക്കർ സ്ഥാനം കൈ വിടാതെ ബിജെപി അടക്കി വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ശക്തമായ പ്രതിപക്ഷം വേണം എന്ന് ബിജെപി ചിലപ്പോൾ ഒക്കെ പറയുന്നത് ഒരു ഭംഗി വാക്ക് എന്നതിലുപരി വേറെ ഒന്നും ഇല്ല. ഏതായാലും നല്ല വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം ഉള്ള നല്ല വിവരം ഉള്ള കുറെ ചെറുപ്പക്കാർ ഈ പാർലിമെൻ്റിൽ ഇടം പിടിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് എന്നത് ആശാവഹമാണ്. ഇന്നത്തെ ചുറ്റുപാടിൽ പാർടി കുപ്പായം ഭാവനയിൽ അഴിച്ചു വെച്ച ഒരു സ്പീക്കർ എന്തുകൊണ്ടും ശരിയല്ല. പൊതു തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് നടത്തുമ്പോൾ അതിനൊപ്പം അരാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരായി കാണുന്ന മൂന്നോ നാലോ പേരെ നിർത്തി തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കൽ ആണ് ഇനി കരണീയം. അത്തരക്കാർ സ്പീക്കർ സ്ഥാനത്ത് വന്നാൽ ഒരു പരിധി വരെ മെച്ചപ്പെടും. അത്തരം സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥികൾ സുപ്രീം കോടതി / ഹൈ കോടതി കളിൽ കഴിവ് തെളിയിച്ച് ആളുകൾ ആയിരിക്കണം. പലതും രാജ്യത്ത് കുറ്റിയറ്റ് പോയപ്പോൾ മുഴുവൻ അല്ലെങ്കിലും ഒരു പരിധി വരെ നമ്മുടെ "" ലോഡ് ഷിപ്പിൽ "" ആണ് പൊതു ജനത്തിന്നു അഭയം.
