People like you don’t even see it There are still a few hundred million rural folks still expected to move to the cities Problem was the developers were building higher end housing and not the affordable housing they needed Plus housing was being used as an investment Example in 2008 around 70% of the people in their housing markets were buying their first home By 2018 around 70% of the people in their housing markets were buying their 2nd and 3rd homes That is not good for the poorer rural folk still expected to join the more well off city folk If you know anything about China then you know having a home in a city affects your job prospects, healthcare, schooling and even marriage prospects This the common prosperity push, the crack down on overt displays of wealth If you disenfranchise the people at the bottom of your society they will probably act out in protest

If you ever open an English summer camp in the U.S., I’d love to sign up and take my kids there. International schools in China are just way too expensive and I want to save money for other things, but it would be great to have kids spending a month or two abroad studying the language and culture every year.

Yeah because access to KZfaq makes life better Their Government is trying to make life better for the majority of their people can you say the same for yours right now? Certainly isn’t happening in my country as it was once voted the best country in the world to live a few times. These days I have to arm my kids incase some homeless person jumps them on the bus or on the way to school

@@lswen2880 He literally spent 12 years in China, if internet access was a dealbreaker he wouldn’t have made it to 6 months IMO. His video is quite clear in that he chose to be closer to family and take over some family businesses that needed help.

做为一个40年前留美的大陆人，在疫情期间看到了你的视频。但是看见你一步步在往错路上走，如，回中国，买房子，疫情期间旅行，孩子生病啥的。不客气但是直率的说，似乎是你的每一个decision都是as wrong as possible ，这其实是不太容易做到的。希望你的将来会更好，尤其是接手你兄弟公司的管理，每一个决定都将影响许多人，不仅仅是自己小家庭了。忠言逆耳，真心希望你与家人在美国生活幸福！

@@duoduozuanqian2024应该不是，民间对在华的美国人普遍态度很好，美国这边也不是特别在乎华人群体的国际关系什么的，他们都分不清日本人韩国人台湾还是中国大陆人的区别。另有别的原因，非常多不方便透漏给他的观众的原因。

你想多了，中美民间哪有什么利益冲突，人家在中国最开放的城市上海，就算全中国都反洋大人上海是不可能的，旧金山会议之后中美航班未来会增多民间走动都是上海纽约之间，给欧洲几个大国免签也是促进交流，中美民间的矛盾远不如中国民间农村人城市人的阶级矛盾，人家上海有房在中国都是享受一流教育一流物资的洋大人中美之间自由往返两边骑，反观中国底层一辈子也够不上人家的皮毛，中央根本不在意中美的对抗反而内部贫富差距失业率的激增矛盾下更难解决，对于这些国内一线有房的洋大人中国是持欢迎态度的@@duoduozuanqian2024

我们住在NJ，I love here! 1.有很多机会去纽约接触各种展览 2.教育属于美国前列 3.四季分明，可以去海滩，也可以去雪山，也可以去看枫叶，还可以去dc看樱花，都是自驾游可以到的地方 5. 很多华人聚居，生活方便

Since your parents are in Florida, would recommend moving to Tampa. Compared with other major cities in Florida, it's less crowded than Orlando or Miami, has cleaner streets, and most importantly, closer to family. Choose a community with good church and attend church regularly. It's invaluable. Blessings to you and your family.

十分理解，去年夏天确实太疯狂了，上海作为社会矛盾最尖锐的城市，当时无论是社会的怨气还是各种暗流涌动都比其他地方更严重。很多聪明的人都从此开始严重缺乏安全感，并由此带来今年和未来几年的经济问题。作为中国人嘛，一起共度时艰并盼望一切慢慢好起来，是唯一的选择。而美国人选择回到自己国家也是人之常情。

Dude, I did exactly the same thing as you with my Chinese wife and my son when he was same age as yours 7 years ago. We moved to San Francisco where there's a big Chinese community and I haven't looked back one bit. Once little Mike starts school you'll be friends with all the parents and a new community will form around it. Good luck teacher mike!

My wife is from one of the hottest areas of China and LOVES living in Minnesota, we've been here for a long time and don't see us ever moving. Decent COL and there are a lot of bilingual Chinese/English K-8 public schools here.
