The sticky faced Barbie is from one of the jewel line mermaid during the longest hair phases, there were other dolls in the line, it was one of the most cloned dolls in the 90’s she would have come with Velcro hair accessories, the face should hold up during the de sticking process, if she’s from that era she could be wearing the brunette version’s mermaid outfit

I'm a customizer, decidedly not well known and not particularly skilled all things considered (my hands shake so repainting is sometimes a challenge) but here's what I had to learn to remember: Customizing dolls is an art form just like drawing and painting. And every artist who draws, paints, makes digital art or customizes dolls has their own unique style. My style doesn't align with the styles of well known artists like Dollightful or Poppen Atelier, and while I think those artists are brilliant at what they do, I don't want my style to look just like theirs. Your customs, your style, you choose whether those comments apply to your work or not and if not, dismiss them and keep on keeping on. I've genuinely told people who offered unsolicited critique where to shove it more than once.

When I was the pop-up I grab a few water bottles because I was like oh my God I need those!! The pop-up wasn’t the same without you hope you can make the next one if they do another one!

I do hope that you make more custom dolls, because the ones that I’ve seen of yours are absolutely gorgeous, just ignore the mean people and do what you want with the custom.

Hey! I had the mermaid doll (the second one) I don’t remember the company but I remember it is a bootleg of jewel hair mermaid Barbie but I got it at a beach gift shop! Hope that helps!
