Thank you so, so much for supporting my journey and passion for this. It means a lot to me and I love hearing from you guys. As I’ve been sorting my doll rooms and fully organizing everything I keep stumbling upon the letters from the past unboxings (I used to keep them with the dolls instead of in their own place which was a terrible idea) and they are so wonderful to read back through. I can’t wait to put all of these dolls into their places in the collection! Thank you so much for thinking of me!

AHHH thank you so much for unboxing my package! It feels surreal to be in one of your videos and for you to recognise my user name. I used to daydream about interacting with other doll collectors, but never thought I´d ever dare to do it. I lived in my head for years, and now I´m making dreams like this happen. It means a lot.

Hi Brooke! I don’t know if anyone already said it but the Tamagotchi you got is the Tamagotchi ON. It takes two triple A batteries. It’s actually a super awesome model! They were released in 2019 but shortly after were deep discounted and then discontinued but now are considered fan favorites of the community & sell for hundreds each. I highly recommend trying it out if you ever have time or are interested! I’m a big tamagotchi collector so if you need any tips I got you 😭

My favorite doll find recently was being able to get the 2018 limited edition hotel Transylvania doll in the black dress for $14 when now she's usually nearly $50 now and I got a few more cave club dolls! I'm so excited for your website like wow!

Nice haul of dolls, accessories, and cat pics. I'm glad the Pop Mart package arrived okay. As far as I know they only did two MLP series so I thought I'd send one of each. I hope you get your favorites.

oh man i remember seeing a picture of that melody doll on the disney wiki when i drew melody for mermay one year funny cus i also recently acquired an obscure disney character in my collection, milo thatch to be more specific! found a reasonably priced listing of him on ebay so i got him as a birthday gift to myself a few days ago im hyped for this site btw, yall are doing fantastic work!

Also the heavy bobblehead on the kindi kids are associated with they're webisodes. The heavy bobble action is kind of what turns me off as a collector but my nieces love them.

58:30 this one is from a store called Pepco, they have their own brand of dolls with aliexpress quality it is called Moia Mia I have several unboxings of the brand on my channel. This one costed about 25 Bulgarian leva but I skipped her. I saw her about 3 months ago in one of the stores in Bulgaria, Sofia. 1:12 they are again the same store Pepco, at least in Bulgaria. It's kind a discount store in sorts. I bought one last year but I looked in her and I never found reviews on them and was like, ok I will review her once they are originally released... but it seems like they never were? I have the bear one but the other ones can still be found in this store.

I have a suggestion for the doll database: adding data for the doll customizers like, an option to include a photo of the doll with the factory makeup erased (so that people can see the sculpt clearly), how tall the body on its own is without a head, which other doll lines they can exchange clothes with and which heads fit the body/which bodies fit the head?

Those big chunky white boots that you showed at around 22 ish are from the Moxie Teenz line. Great find! I also really love Shadow from OMG. She may have been the first one that really caught my eye and then I lamented forever about the betty boop faces which I have come to accept and appreciate. I was really happy to get ahold of one. As far as new dolls, I got a Barbie Looks yesterday second hand. She is the one with the Afro and she is stunning. I also splurged and found an in box Reel Drama Frankie, which I had slept on when they were released. I am really excited to see your project grow! If I could I would love to help with photos. I have almost all of the Moxie Teenz line (almost :[ ). I also own a lot of Monster High but I am sure that one will be well covered.

I love the idea and the work behind the database. A possible idea just came to me and you can ignore it if you want. I am someone who recently got into doll restyles and I was thinking maybe you could add a section or forum with customization tutorials like rerooting and dyeing doll hair.

I am so excited for Dollect!! Are you aware of MFC; My Figure Collection? It’s a database website for anime figures and goods. You might find it interesting to get ideas from it re. features and layout. The layout and design of the site is not my favourite (I think it looked better in previous updates), but it works quite well as a database. It’s also interesting when you compare it to what you said about Dollect and your role as the founder. You want it to be for the community - you don’t want to be possessive over it. MFC is kind of the opposite of that. It is very much run by its community/moderators these days; the owner has essentially abandoned the site (he is rarely active). Despite his inactivity and disinterest, he refuses to give up ownership. It’s very selfish, IMO. Mostly because it hinders progress and improvement to the site. Also, what he seems to want for the site can be quite different from what the overwhelming majority of the community want for the site. It’s just interesting to compare the ideals, even when Dollect isn’t fully up and running just yet.

AH MELODY YES, I'm so happy you got your hands on her cause I personally know how hard she is to get ahold of. I had her as a kid when she was new ,lost her,and didn't get her again till 2016 or so. I never thought I'd get her again cause of what she seems to go for but I finally got lucky. I did rebody mine and I made her a new shirt,fins and necklace cause she had nothing when I got her.

Mia and me was a favorite after winx for me cuz of the animation PS i went to school for graphic and web design. I'm fluent in html but I'm learning some CSS. Definitely would be interested in checking out some of the format and adding some eye catching colors to it. The logo is creative too. I actually had to make a website for class and i chose a database of like comic books and stuff so this wouldn't be too far off from that. One important thing i can see would be added would be credit to the doll photographer or doll line. Then have someone write up a description for each doll line with ita backstory. Kinda like wikipedia but would have to make sure any information pulled from another source be listed. Very cool concept for a website.
