I'm doing a mail order plant review today, for the website Fast Growing Trees.com. When you choose to mail order plants, sometimes it's a hit and sometimes it's a miss. Let me share my experience with you and see what you think.

Thank you. Good to know it was a good experience for you. I have had good luck with Spring Hill catalog and you are correct it takes a bit of time for the plant to establish and grow. My selections from Spring Hill grew lovely, hellebores, Jacob's ladder, ferns, Princess Wu Hostas, and bleeding hearts.

I've ordered from Spring Hill in the past, too, and while I have to be patient to get hte plants to grow larger, usually they are good quality. Thanks for watching and commenting! Have a great day!

I’ve ordered many things from them over the past years and I’m more than pleased with each one. They always send me larger plants/trees than what I pay for and more importantly, the quality of the shrubs are so much better than big box stores. Check out their rose trees. I have a red knock out rose tree from them and it is stunning. I bought one from Home Depot and it didn’t make it through a tough winter with the same care and location.

Hi! I ordered a flamethrower redbud online, but it’s just a stick without any budding, no branches, no leaves! I did cut the top to see if any sign of life, and there is some small green in the center. Any tips to help it grow, would be much appreciated!!!

Not sure. I had similar serviceberry whips a few years ago, and they were pretty stagnant. Time? Nutrition? Water? Not sure.

they're all different, so best to look them up individually.

Hi Samantha, there was an offer for free shipping for orders over a certain limit... right now the offer is free shipping for orders over $175. I ordered on Sat. Mar 20, they were put into shipping on Mar 23, and they arrived on Mar 27.
