'He's a joke!' Chris Sutton reacts to viral Dorking boss Marc White rant
Non-league boss Marc White has gone viral after he slammed his own Dorking Wanderers players in a furious two-minute rant following their shock FA Cup defeat. The National League side are currently only one step below the EFL, having been promoted 12 times since White founded the club 23 years ago.
But Dorking saw their FA Cup campaign ended at their first hurdle as they lost 2-0 to Horsham - who play in the Isthmian League Premier Division, two tiers below White's club - on Saturday. In his post-match reaction, White told Dorking Wanderers TV : 'They [Horsham] fully deserve to be in the draw and I really hope they get something amazing and life-changing so my f****** s*** players can learn a f****** lesson.
It's All Kicking Off's Chris Sutton slammed the Dorking manager saying: 'His job is to motivate the players... the fans may love it but his players will despise him!'

FA cups make or break a lot of these clubs. These aren’t multi million paid superstars. These are working class men that can take a bollocking. Pretentious interview that doesn’t understand non league football is about transparency with the fans.

I am not a Dorking fan and support another national league club,but have to say the club is his project,and if thats how he manages to get his message across then so be it.He has done amazing things getting them where they are,players at that level are paid well,and should be accountable,i admire his honestly,you know where you stand with him.i have watched a lot of the content they put out,and he will blame himself and his backroom staff as and when he feels the need to do so.He has no owner or shareholders to keep happy with neutral comments,so why can he not do that?

If you haven’t watched the whole interview or understand what Marc and the club are about then you can’t comment. Sutton doesn’t know the back story and all of the Dorking players understand and buy into the ethos that Marc has

Yeah have to agree with the comments. Gotta know the background of this one and the setting. This ain’t superstars at Arsenal being called out for a poor performance. These fella was with them 5-10leagues lower and has come all the way through. Got blokes working during day also. Also fair, coach should motivate and find ways to win. This one ain’t like that. They missed out what else he said re he’s the first to publicly praise a player who will get all the glory so when they don’t perform as a paid player should they deservedly get slated. A manager can only do so much motivating. If a paid player can’t take a bit of public criticism when underperforming they should find a new career.

He owns the gig, he built it from scratch. He can say what he likes. Players are the most transient and recyclable element in football. Great owners build club dynasties, look at Chelsea without Abramovich, look at UTD’s woes with awful owners. You think Man City would be still where they are if their owners left? Players get paid far too much for doing fr too little and most ride the gravy train for as long as they can. Poch was right recently when he said Chelsea weren’t a charity.
