It is shameful for a champion to lose via lay-n-pray and wall-n-stall tactics. It is a sign of deficient skills like getting submitted (without being rocked by strikes first).

@@kyartick8502 had a much more in depth response but it was deleted due to having a link. compared to ufc yes but for combat sports they aren’t bad. UFC consistently breaks 100K PPV buys and bellator has only done it once (rampage vs king mo)

@@RealNewsMMA idk what the views will be at the end of today but rn only 0.05% of their subs have viewed this title fight card. Ufc has way more subs but 0.05 is horrible. And during the cyborg card live there was only max 10k watching. 0.05 is like only 500k watching a ufc fight card on KZfaq if the ufc put their cards live on KZfaq. Idk how bellator is paying a lot of these fighters. And amosov being champ might make their ratings drop if he keeps fighting like this

Would go both ways imo, not a MMA fight if there’s only striking too, but personally I don’t mind it too much as long as it’s exciting. Aaron Pico spent all his times (basically) grappling and he had an exciting fight, and striking can be exciting too
