There is a belief in Advaita Vendanta form of Hinduism that all men and women are same, irrespective of physical appearance and other attributes, one with the brahman and the changes/ differences we do notice between people are only temporary I am not very religious minded and never cared for the above statement but today will be audacious enough to say that I did not find much difference between your and Lataji's version. Of course there are differences in sound (technical ones due to equipments)..but both give me an equal amount of joy and pleasure when I hear them...
