I always make it at x 0, z 0 so it's easier for me to remember the coordinate, resulting I can always find a way back home even though I explored the world too far

@@potato_the_name7658 Then you would need to live among the culture. You can learn English for 4 years in another country and still never understand things that have specific meaning to people in a country. Like British say "Cheers" when they mean thanks but in America it's usually just something to do with clinking glasses of wine together during an occasion. So even if you understood the language you would still need to understand the culture and current and past trends to fully understand why a phrase is used.

OK first, I LOVE the design. So, peeps, if you have no sponge because it's early game and or eldritch sea creature are too harrowing an ordeal, you can still do this design! 1. Straighten out the terrain with dirt blocks. 2. Put down your glass/stairs over the top where you want them to be. 3. Dig until you get to the glass block. Easiest is to strip mine it and replace the roof one you get three blocks down. 4. Enjoy your water free riverbank home!

Seawater destroys common building materials just living near the sea rusts anything metal (cars, balcony, gates etc) all need far too much care... Nevermind waterproofing... House insurance wouldn't want to touch u

One problem no one is pointing out, you can’t place items on a half slab like he just did on the second floor. Almost a good build.
