@@knicks2030 Bearing in mind that this is a challenging environment, the mics are in the ear, nowhere near the mouth. Another great review, thank you! I wonder where the Openrock pros would arrange in that order. From all the open ears i bought i still like the Tozo Open Buds, the Fiio Jade JD1 and the Blackview airbuds 10 the best. The Fiios have amazing tone and timbre and sound exceptionally live like for such a cheap set. Out of head experiance is almost as good as with the tozos. The Blackview offer a warm and cozy sound, specially good for relaxing. Nr. 1out of those are the Tozos for me personally. They are super comfortable, have long battery life and in terms of sound they offer deep and dry bass and the most out of the head experience regarding soundstage of any headphone i heard in 15 yrs in the hobby. In that regard they even crush any of my overear open back planar headphones which range between 10 to 30 times pricier than the Tozos. It still is interesting to explore those cheap little all day TWS sets tho.

Just got my oladance pros... Phenomenal. :) I completely forget I have them on. Sound quality is a 10. The sound genuinely feels like I have in ear headphones and the bass feels very bass-y, especially for open ear headphones. The controls are a little odd at first, but I freaking lovvvvve not accidentally tapping them and changing the track or pausing or whatever... I freaking hateeeee that aspect with earbuds. Alsoooo, the noise canceling thing is pretty cool and surprisingly functional. The battery! It's insane. It never dies. Lol it just goes and goes and goes. 😮

So I am moving from shokz bone conduction to open ear. I tried the Anker soundcore aerofit pro but the behind the ear piece was larger than the space I have between my ear and skull and after a few hours of wear it started to cause pain. Tried it for a few more days but it didnt improve; but I had zero hot spots on the part over my ear. With shokz releasing the openfit air, I thought I would try those. The do fit better between my ear and skull with the pliable open silicone hook but it does put a bit more pressure on the back of my ear which while it secures the part over my ears from moving it is pushing the speaker portion into the back of my ear and is creating some hot spots. That said I wear these from when I get up at 6 am and wear them til I go to bed at 9 so there will be some adjustment time required but so far a week in to the shokz and will see if the hot spots calm down or if I will be sending these back like the Anker

Shokz openfit. I don't get an allergic reaction behind and at the top of my ears, I do with the oledance. They are hard to hear when it's windy when I run. Their mics are great. They don't have buttons which means they activate randomly when I wear a hat with a sun protector. I actually switched back to my Shokz open run's because I can hear them, comfortable, no reaction and buttons.

Hi Andy, thanks for much for the review. I've been watching a lot of your stuff on open ear goodness. The reviews are so well laid out. Do you know of an open ear style headphone that supports aptX-LL? I think the cleer arc II is probably the least in terms of Bluetooth latency but is not aptx-LL. Any input from yourself? 😊
@AndysTechTone

The Arc II supports both aptX Lossless and aptX Adaptive which combined with the proper source can give you low latency

Hi Andy, thought I replied. Thanks for getting back to me. The arc II seems like a good choice but I can't get them in aust without paying 400 AUD plus.. too much. The game edition with a USB dongle seems to be an Asia only exclusive and not 100% sure it's even available for sale. I know it's not about latency with aerofit but I can't even get that here too. I looked at the 1more s50 and it's available here. Will likely give them a go. Thanks for your top notch reviews Andy.
