My fiance is a trucker who recently started with CFI, and I've taken to watching these videos sometimes to learn more about his equipment and what he does! He's got his 2nd road test on Monday and if that goes well he'll be in his own truck next week!!!

It's funny most ppl don't know. That it affect the dryer, plus the def system. Thier are filter in those dryer as well as the cabin filters but most don't know it does affect the air dryer filter as well as def. ALOT DO NOT DO IT. VERY SIMPLE CUT TRUCK OFF GET A BUNGIE CORD PULL IT.

I cant find any cables to drain the tanks on my freightliner

They should be by the DEF tank

@@hectordelgadillo9952 they weren't. I never found them. Drove that truck for 6 months not knowing. Luckily not in winter. My company sold it and now I have a brand new truck.

So the truck doesn't have to be running to do that just make sure that your tanks are full shut it down and how long do you hold it dude wait 30 seconds a minute or wait till all the air is out completely

Better to have it off so you can actually hear it draining and the compressor doesn't keep trying to run

@@lucashoward1730 actually he never said anything about the truck type! You can tell by the fairings it's a KW T680.

Doesn't tell you how to drain TRAILER AIR TANKS!!! not just "air tanks"
