That’ll be the next appointment I make, because I’ve been having the WORST back and hip pain. And honestly, I should’ve talked more about the massage. It was nice in the moment, but I don’t think it did much for me overall.

@@KathrynBedell yes it’s only a momentary relief. The chiropractor is going to help keep you aligned and get the weight of the baby to distribute properly across your hips. I’ve had natural births w/ both of my boys. The second being a home birth. I really believed the chiropractic appts is what really helped my labors and births go as quickly and as smoothly as they did.

Happy New Year!! Waxing def gets better as you keep your appts and be consistent. I did for all of 2022 and decided I will DIY my own waxes for 2023 since the pain is less and the hair comes off easily.

Happy New Year to you too! When I used to get waxed consistently in 2019-2020, it became so painless! Now that I’m starting over, it’s a struggle but I know it’ll be worth it if I remain consistent. But you’re a tough cookie for sure, because I don’t think I could ever do my own Brazilian 😵💫😂

Hey Kathryn! It was so teeth wrenching to see you go in pain during that wax. I’d say look in IG for an experienced sugarist. If you’re doing hard, it’ll hurt and you can risk getting burned. No way she left hair and still put you through that pain and couldn’t at least finish well. My experience with sugaring, she knows how to help with the pain and get all hair off to get it over with, especially with pregnant women. Good luck love ❤ and you look amazing

Hey girl, heyy!! I’ve been watching you since you were in your mom’s house & I am so proud of you. If you can, try to find a wax place that uses hard wax! It’s better for sensitive skin & I have found it to be less painful! I hope this helps💕

My friend told me about a numbing spray that you can buy on Amazon, it’s a lidocaine spray. I’m not sure if it’s safe while you’re pregnant but you can check into it. I love method body wash, I get the peace and simply nurish washes. I’ll have to smell the one you suggested. I always restock on the Moroccan rose scrub because that’s my all time favorite scrub by them.

Next time you go to Dunkin try the brown sugar bacon sandwich it’s my favorite. I’m not a coffee girl so I like Starbucks drinks better but dunkin has the better food hands down.

Have you ever tried sugaring? I get that instead of hard wax and I like it. I got to sugaring NYC. I also love that vitamin C scrub from tree hunt. That’s the only one I ever get.

It’s the best scrub from that line, for sure! And I haven’t tried sugaring because I’m so scared 😂 but I guess it can’t be any worse than waxes. I’m sure it’s better for the skin too.

That’s funny.. I jst tried Dunkin for the 1st time this week & I got the avocado toast (with tomatoes) & a coffee…. I didn’t think their coffee was better than Starbucks tho (i didn’t really know what to order) but their food is a go!!!

My skin was so sensitive while pregnant , i used to get itchy . I would check your body washes there may be something that is now irritating you , i had to change mine to fragrance free

I’m definitely going to mention it. She did say that since I shaved in between waxes, the hair was more difficult to pull… so hopefully next time, I leave with a cleaner wax. Also congrats to you too! Our boys are due around the same time, my date is April 29th!

What kind of wax are you getting? The only time I got waxed and still had hair was with soft wax and it hurt like hellllll. Hurt so bad I had a headache and had to go home and go to sleep. I’ve been doing hard wax since and it’s sooooo much better and it adheres to the hair not the skin so they can go over the same spots and get all the hair.

Believe it or not, it was hard wax! I think I had too much working against me: being pregnant, not having a Brazilian in almost two years, shaving in between, AND my hair was long. I’m hoping next time will be better 😵💫😂

the neutrogena oil free acne wash with salicylic acid (orange bottle) will take off the arm acne for sure ! it’s the only thing that works for my back and chest

I have to agree with your friend, waxing is much better lol. It’s definitely painful but SO worth it! Of course, always do what’s best for you. Because I literally took the last 2 years off from waxing due to some lifestyle changes.

Both! I took over a year off from waxing, so I have been shaving my ass off. So the combination of that plus being pregnant made the experience very unpleasant 😂 I’m sure my next appointment will be much better, so don’t let me scare you from doing it yourself lol

I must be crazy as hell because I got waxed my entire pregnancy lol literally got a wax the day before I gave birth…I broke out on my arms and my upper back when I was pregnant and it went away after I gave birth! I tried all types of creams and stuff and nothing worked

@@KathrynBedell Nivea oil infused lotions are a staple & should be for poc. Inkey list has a gentle oat cleanser that it suitable for that area too. Also, focus on intaking things to help clear it up from the inside-out. Speak with a doctor on taking protein/keto powder shakes that have peptides & collagen along with your oat milk. Not too sure what your maternity journey would restrict/allow - so definitely consult a professional!

You have pregnancy puffs * it's an allergic reaction to the placenta, it may get worse donck pick at them they scar! I had them with my son my neck got really black as well. The small pustules we're on my neck, arms , and upper back. The allergy wasn't a big deal even though it sounds horrifying. I went over term by a week and my son was 8lbs2oz he is almost 17 now

Lmaooo! I think when I go back, it’ll be a better experience. I had taken too long of a break between waxes plus I had been shaving, so it was destined to be bad 😂 Do you still get sugared? And do you prefer it over hard wax?

@@KathrynBedell it should get easier. I’ve done both waxing and sugaring. Thr sugar takes long get because they do it in smaller portions but the results are better. Smoother finish, takes longer to grow back and hair grows back thinner. The best part for me is no hair roots with the sugaring. I’ve been slacking on self care since I had my baby, time to get back on it.

I told her for sure! But she warned me beforehand that my pregnancy sensitivity would make it more uncomfortable than usual. She also said that since I hadn’t had a wax in a long time, it would make it difficult to get a clean pull. So the “horrible” experience I had was not necessarily due to the waxer but due to my personal circumstances, which is why I was so nervous at the start of the video because I already knew it would be bad. 😂

I really enjoyed the groomer, she only takes one dog at a time which I liked plus she was super quick. I always like to try people more than once before I recommend them, but my first experience was great. Let me know if you want her info!
