The PV makes this song so much more intense. I think the song along with the PV perfectly captures that feeling of wanting to cry, trying not to cry, and finally breaking down so much harder because you tried to hold it back.

+Hanrase A its the truth, and honestly I'm kinda fed up with people saying that "oh I don't really have any or show any real emotions" because that's the thing that makes you human, it's especially aggravating when they say it to be "emo" or to sound cool and edgy.

I personally think that this song is about a girl that has died, yet can't accept it, hence the "I'd never go wishing to die, it's far too unlike all those words that I said," which maybe implies that she may have had a suicidal friend that she tried to convince that they shouldn't kill themselves. Further evidence towards this is the "though my heart and soul have died," and also the figure standing beside her at 2:39 could be a silhouette of the aforementioned suicidal friend, and maybe the "I've dreamed to have helped all along" is her saying that she really hopes she was able to help her friend, but doesn't know what is going to become of her now that the character singing has died. The "I'm fine alright, it's just been rough," could also be the singer quoting something that her friend may have said to her to try and stop the singer from worrying about her. Maybe the "My voice, it won't cry anymore," is further evidence of the death theory, as one can't exactly speak when dead, and maybe the "but I can hear you laugh from this far away" is that maybe she is, in a sense, watching over her friend from the afterlife, and who knows, maybe another reason she is so sad in the song is that, aside from not being able to further help her friend, she has to just sit and watch her struggle. Who knows though, I could be completely wrong. It's simply a theory, and I am well aware that this is a version that has been translated, with the lyrics altered and rephrased to fit how the song originally went, as the exact translation wouldn't fit the rhythm.

@@invinciblemikey I think it's really good! I've noticed a lot of N-buna's songs have similar lyrics and topics to their recent music as the band Yorushika! Yorushika's songs talk about how the main speaker, a girl, is trying to accept and deal with the loss of her loved one and friend. I feel like a lot of the songs before Yorushika were the beginning of the story he wrote in the songs, so you're not far off with this theory! Edit: Also, the bus motif is super common in Yorushika songs, so this song is probably about the same thing as those songs: a girl who lost someone she loved and is in grief.

+warxdrum i'm sorry that you found the lyrics "too happy" -- i did my best to convey the emotions while retaining the original meaning of the song's lyrics but hey, i've already accepted that sometimes my best doesn't cut it, haha. i value your opinion and will continue to work harder so i can improve on this. =) but yes please do focus on rachie's lovely voice!! i feel that she conveyed the heartbreakingly emotional aspect of the song with her voice alone

+Sayri well, i'm prejudiced by knowing the other lyrics first xD i feel that your's make her seem less hopeless. it feels like you took a more direct approach to the person herself. may i ask if there's much leeway in translating/interpreting the lyrics? for example at 2:28 there's a part that's repeated in the japanese version. why did you take that out? (i always appreciate more direct translations but i can't translate at all so i can't really assess that^^)
