Hi , I have noted all the cutoffs for jac as well as ipu on a paper I am getting Mait(cst and csds) and igdtuw (ece) , and I really don't know what to choose, I am so confused. I have gone through the curriculum as well. I am little inclined towards igdtuw but that this just because of it is proximity to metro station (better location)which is imp for me. Also when a student preppares for jee , one does have mait as their dream college or even igdtuw . So there is a lingering feeling of being failure because of which I sometimes think I should take a drop , fearing I won't get a good job, or live a good college life and it would be painful as it was in 11th and 12th. All my friends are going in either nsut or dtu , I really feel like this jee failure would always be this black spat that I just can't look away from.

depends on what matters to you, number 1 criteria should be based on your interest that whether you are ready to study ece for next 4 years or cse for next 4 years ask yourself that question, if its placements then go for igdtu ece, you will easily get a higher package, but ofcourse igdtu is a all woman's college just think about it if you hv problem with it or not. and I see you hv location also as priority then ig igdtu ece will be good for you (for good placements, location) . BUT if you think you cant do ece at all (karloge vaise toh) and solely have interest in cse and also don't want a all woman's college and better peer group then go for MAIT. Regarding the last failure thing, Im afraid I can't help you,going through the same shit . confused b/w taking a drop or getting into a college and that lingering feeling just stays always. Lemme know what you choose.

I got CSE in MAIT in first cutoff (it was the first preference) , I cannot float now..i have to freeze it by paying seat acceptance fees. (₹96000 in 2024) I want to ask will I get this whole fee refund if I withdraw my admission after the last round ? (If i get some better college in JAC or JoSSA afterwards)

Yes you may get CSE. About placements, yes the impact of recession is real and compared to previous years the placements are seen to be quite falling. And this is happening across most of the colleges. Talking about internships, the opportunities given are already less.

Hey! Meri 239408 h gen ews delhi candidate last year round 3 me EEE 169k tk gyi thi and ECE 92k tk gyi thi so is year jaisi cutoff gyi h ipu ki uske according mujhe EEE ya ECE mil sakti h round 3 tk. And there are 2 new branch which is ECE - advance communication ( 2023 round 2 cutoff = 161k) and electronic engineering vlsi design ( 2023 round 2 cutoff = 192k )how are these branches and there is maximum probability of getting these 2 branch in next round. Should i consider these or not ya core ece leni chahiye?

Depends what course you want to pursue abroad, because for that your branch matters. For eg. If you want to join a computer science course in your masters then opt for CS at mait because chemical might make things harder for you for higher studies

Is this college connectivity good for daily going students and is it safe for girls because i went their to see the area at noon time but there was no direct rikshaw at metro so what i wanna ask at the collage time is connectivity good or not? please clear this.

During the college days, the connectivity is absolutely fine. The autos stand just in front of the college. When the college is off or during breaks, you can get an auto/rickshaw from the T-point near the 2nd gate of college. Talking about the safety, yes it's absolutely safe here.

ROI of USICT is better as the fees is half of MAIT and for placements USICT >= MAIT
