There is no christmas song that touches me as much as this song. The message of that song , the emotions that Tommy delivers with this song is so heartwarming. Just the hope that friendship and understanding can change a man. The thoughts are from Bob Cratchet, who is working for Ebenezer. He has also a tough life with his sick son Tiny Tim. But Bob has something Ebenezer doesn't have. A family and people around him that live him. Ebenezer is alone. This song is about how to change people with love and friendship. Isn't that what we all need. Tommy's interpretation of this is beautiful. It is my favourite song on this album
