I get why a lot of people want them to "blow up", but they're still pretty popular on the low. I tried to get tickets to a Majid Jordan concert when they came to Montreal but couldn't bc it was all sold out in really short period of time. You don't need to hit Drake numbers in views and sales if you're a music artist, as long as you're able to sell tickets and go on tour and have creative control over your music, that's success enough. Besides, there are enough venues across the world supporting non mainstream music acts, just compare a bunch of indie artists' tour lists and you'll see the same cities pop up. PND and MJ are doing just fine.

Abi yeah but here in the states they are not that popular. Here in austin tx his tickets were cheap (20) and they played at like a club not at an event center so they still have alot more growing to do

D the problem is drake he's exploiting them to keep his relevancy and they could do so much better drake is so focused on keeping his own relevancy that his label,ovo sound doesn't do much to help better their artists,they still get paid nonetheless but they don't get the credit they deserve

Vxctoria they do deserve more recognition but what I realized is that quality music isn't always the most 'popular' music. in a way, I think that's a good thing. they're special, they have us as fans, and they shouldn't be associated with a majority of the half ass music we have today

Party next door saying a lot more on this song because he was the hook as well as he had a verse. The collaboration is a masterpiece.Good artists realize that they don't always have to overpower the song.They put the right recipe on this one I would love to hear more from magid. Plus this throws magid Into another class of listeners. I heard this and put it on my playlist immediately. He wouldn't have gotten this kind of recognition on this side. If he hadn't not have rocked with party next door it was a very well planned and executed move. I love it..
