This fight is the definition of fun. It’s great to see Buu’s skillset and abilities again as a hero. The other universes get to bear witness to the terror U7 once dealt with, and it’s great

for those complaining about the name change from "Toppo" in the Japanese dub, to "Top" in the English dubb.. as jarring and abrupt sounding as it is, "Top" for Toppo in the English dub makes sense since his name is meant to be an anagram for "Pot", which would be "Potto" under Japanese pronunciation

And yet no other media outside of the dub has called him Top. Even the english card game, XV2 and the mobile games call him Toppo. It's a surreal thing to see and I wonder if they ever bring the anime back and Toppo shows up again they'll keep his name as Top or revert it to Toppo.

Some scenes of the Goku Black Arc had some wonderfully animated scenes. Such as the Goku/Trunks Vs Black/Zamasu fight, and the Vegito Vs Zamasu fight. But I will say, the animation of DB Super is at its absolute best in the TOP arc.

both scenes actually animated by the same guy the Legendary Naotoshi Shida. you may recognize him from the "I will not let you destroy my world" scene in Battle of Gods, Goku punching Frieza in ep 95. Goku getting mad in episode 130 after Jiren does the thing. He does most of the Gogeta Blue vs Broly Fight in DBS Broly. And much more in the entire franchise starting all the way back in the original dragon ball.

1:08 The animation quality was infamously bad in the early parts of the series (they actually redrew a few parts for the NA release, they were so bad), but got consistently better as it moved through its run. The tournament of power looked spectacular by the end.

So Jack, just to let you know in every other piece of media for Dragon Ball, Top is known as Toppo. The English Dub changed it to fit the lip syncing (if I remember correctly). I just wanted to give you a heads up so if you play a DB video game and see Toppo in it, you wouldn’t be confused about why he isn’t named Top.

Have you reacted to the intro of this arc yet? It shows many new characters that you haven’t seen before. We don’t see them until all participating universes go to the null realm. I don’t know if you want to react to the intro anytime soon because at some point there’s a change, & it’s pretty spoilery.
