This bank crisis is so far from being over. Anyone who has been around for longer than 12 years, knows a credit crisis isn't over in two weeks. Makes me laugh seeing folks thinking this was all over so quickly. We are seeing a credit contraction that is gonna lead to a major contraction.

It's often overlooked that banks are also corporate entities driven by greed. One of the contributing factors to current bank crisis is the banks' excessive leveraging of assets. However, on the advantageous aspect, economic downturns offer numerous prospects for ordinary individuals to create wealth from the ground up. Nevertheless, seeking guidance from an investment planner might be necessary if you desire a more assertive return.

In the world of finance, crisis are prime opportunities for wealth creation. When my port-folio suffered a significant loss in April of last year, I realised the need to enlist the expertise of a financial consultant. With her guidance, I have not only recovered from my losses but also generated a profit of 450k. The knowledge and skills I have acquired through this experience have been invaluable in my journey towards financial success.

A common oversight is that banks operate solely in the service of yield. Personally, I am hesitant to keep substantial sums of money in a bank. Instead, I opt to invest under the guidance of experts, reap the advantages, and diligently save for my retirement.

It was a very bad decision to remove the Glass-Steagall Act in the late 1990s, which led to the spectacular failure of huge banks during the financial crisis of 2007-2008. To prevent another disaster, Dodd-Frank and this statute both need to be reestablished right away. What happened with these banks is only the beginning of what will happen if nothing is done to address the current situation.

In my opinion, some of the banks was attempting to restructure their bond portfolio, which involved selling their low-yielding bonds despite the potential loss, and compensating for it by buying higher-interest-rate bonds on the open market.

Despite the economy's resilience thus far, the banks scenario cautions that the effects of Federal Reserve rate hikes persist. During such periods, investors must remain alert to anticipate what comes next. It is not necessary to act on every prediction, so I recommend seeking the guidance of a financial advisor, which has been my go-to advice for some time now.

Won’t happen. The government enacted bail in legislation. They take the money you have in the bank and give you shares in the bank. The problem is they’ll probably value those shares at the previous value not the about to collapse value. So if the shares were worth say £1 per share you’ll get 1000 shares for the thousand you hand in the bank. But the current value of the share has dropped to a penny and your £1000 is now worth £10. You won’t be able to spend your £1000 and therefore inflation will drop. Lots of people out of work because the economy will pretty much stop. The banks will be rich though because they’ll have a ton of money that’s now worth much more. Now when you think this problem is being caused by the banks is almost like they control the world.

Most big banks are so heavily involved with multiple sectors of the economy ! When these banks struggle & underwriting tightens policy for lending it has trickle down effect. Not only does it affect people who have money in the bank but also businesses that rely on them for lending. Not to mention the thousands of people employed. It just spirals from there !

In light of the ongoing global economic crisis, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize investing in diverse sources of income that are not reliant on the government. This includes exploring opportunities in stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the challenging economic situation, it remains a favorable time to consider these investments.

The pathway to substantial returns doesn't solely rely on stocks with significant movements. Instead, it revolves around effectively managing risk relative to reward. By appropriately sizing your positions and capitalizing on your advantage repeatedly, you can progressively work towards achieving your financial goals. This principle applies across various investment approaches, whether it be long-term investing or day trading.

I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over $2.8million.

The timing of it though is almost impossible to predict because when all the signs are there that it whould go down there is always some manipulation of the system to protect it with our own money. They continually kick the can down the road but make no mistake the house of cards will fall, will it be tomorrow or in 2-5-10 years it is hard to say though. As soon as they will stop to pump fresh money into the ponzy scheme is when it will happen. Enjoy what you have in the meantime because it will end and we will live though very tough time for at least a decade when it happen.

Silicon Valley went under and first republic and couple smaller banks. The BTFP was created as a backstop for the banks to borrow from but that ended in march after one year was up. Now the banks are on their own.

@@bigpump9483 the unrealized losses of the banks are massive. It's not like they want to dump bitcoin but at some point they very well might have to. If market crashes so does bitcoin. Crypto is a fake safety asset. To save yourself just buy physical gold

This guy is a joke. I unsubscribed so disappointed to see him pop up in my feed again. I'll signal to KZfaq I'm not interested yet again. Sick of his constant doomerism for clicks
