the amount of projects that are in process is getting pretty insane. Pro S14, seat time S13, RHD e36, 2JZ FRS and the Maserati Porsche. Not to mention going to events and maintaining the whole fleet during it all. Not even Adam has so many build going on at the same time now that I think of it..? Oh and Jimmy being a new Dad as well XD, don't get burned James, and Spoon as well working his ass off in the shop you guys are getting nuts with the amount off work going on for real.

Old hot rod trick to keep from spinning rod bearings. Install a roll pin in the oil journal. Make sure it sticks out enough to hold the bearing in place but not enough to stick out and cause issues.

Jimmy long time listener, first time caller. You managed to hide your LS emotions very well in the vids. I watched every episode from the first mention of LS to the teardown after the failure. You said you were hoping to see if the warranty was going to help at all. I dont recall hearing anything after that until now, so I am assuming you didnt get any help. I thought that was such a huge blow at that moment, so to hear you confirm today how impactful that was confirms that for me. I always wondered how you were feeling about it, and what happened. I say all this, just to say sorry. Also, i always forget to like the videos so i good old reminder right smack in the middle of the video is always helpful. Anyway, good luck!

To be far, ls3 with stock pistons, stock ring gap. Then add boost. You're not gonna have a good time. Funny part if you would open up the ring gap would of lasted a lot longer.

Its cheaper because you want an Aluminum 6.2 with aftermarket crank, rods, pistons, cam, full bearing kit, machine work, and dry sump hard to redo that for less than 15k. TSP Gunslinger short block is 8k LS3 Dry sump is over 5k, reusing as much as you could... 15k easy. Makes sense to build what you want...

Jimmy you could soooo easily port those in your own shop in about an hour !!!! Thats something you should try and see what difference it makes but remember to polish the runners also so its a port & polish.
